I had lunch here with the BFF and really liked it. We arrived soon after it opened so it wasn’t crowded. The man taking care of us was quick, efficient, and friendly.

Ordered appetizers, two bowls of Ramen and bento box with my son. All taste delicious, just right balanced flavors, especially considering we just returned fro Japan. The owners are very nice, they were the “green store” owners in Medina for a long time, and I really missed their store when they left last year. Highly recommend Amoy one to give a try!

Nice little place owned by a family. Always available seating, fast service and good food. A wee bit expensive but it is Kirkland and local so I’m fine with it.

My second time here, and I have to say Shibu Ramen Kirkland is my favorite ramen spot. Immediately greeted and asked to sit anywhere I like. Fast courteous service, and more importantly the amazing delicious hot food. I ordered the Edamame, Garlic Tonkatsu (made it spicy), and hot sake. Exceptionally fresh and full of great flavor. I’ll be coming back regularly for sure.

The food is decent. But the half size portions for full price should not be the norm and I urge them to properly price their menu items to the size. I know kimchi is a bit sour but this is not the sour taste I want left in my mouth. See my pictures, nearly 30 for a small bowl of fried rice and a few pieces of fried chicken is outrageous.

It was my first ramen experience, we we’re lucky to get a nice table as soon as we walked in. Because Shibu Ramen seems like a popular place and while we were there many groups came in and had to wait for a table. We ordered tea and some appetizers which came quickly. The entrees came very quickly as well, all the food was fresh, tasty, and well prepared. The reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is because since it was my first time trying Ramen I was hoping I would love the food (like when I first tried Pho), but it wasn’t that way. Maybe I don’t like Ramen in general, but I was hoping a great restaurant would make me love the cuisine but it didn’t.

A great introduction to ramen. The soups are tasty although a little light on flavor. Lots of veggies. Appetizers are great too. The restaurant is cozy and well planned. Fantastic atmosphere with beautiful art. The staff is very friendly.
