My new favorite Mexican restaurant in town! I’ve been 3 times in the last 2 weeks it is so good. Food is delicious. Literally the best birria tacos in town, in my opinion. The sampler appetizer platter was also a great deal and very tasty. Guacamole is fresh with large chunks of avocado and queso is excellent as well. Happy hour (2-5pm) had 2 for 1 house margaritas, which were surprisingly very good, you can tell they use fresh juices and not that awful sour mix. Also loved their spicy margarita so much! Drink menu is very creative and drinks are a work of art. Atmosphere is also lovely and service is always fast. Big fan of Monarca, and will continue to come back.

This place was very very good. Great bar area which we look for. Our friend had an avocado margarita which was amazing! The house margarita and mojito were good. The 1/2 bean 1/2 queso was unique and delicious. Honestly the only thing that kept them from getting 5 stars was price. Unfortunately I feel that’s very “ormond beach” these days. Absolutely worth a visit, we’ll be back.

This food was sooo yummy! I would recommend to anyone in Daytona. Chips were served warm and mojito was super fresh. Ceviche was very tasty and fresh. It did not taste “fishy.” However, it did feel like there was more onion than fish in it. It was so nice to see that the menu had an entire vegetarian section, and my refried bean burrito was delish (though a bit runny). The Alambre also had incredible flavor. Can’t go wrong with anything here. 🙂 Some of the best Mexican I’ve had.

We visited here tonite and it was so amazing!! My husband had Enchiladas Rancheras, I had birria tacos. The chips were on point! Warm and thick for dipping in the delicious salsa and queso!! Salsa had a nice smokiness flavor!!! Mango margaritas were refreshing!! The rice and beans authentic as you can get!!!! We will be back as a local favorite!!!!

Recently visited with my family (our party had five toddlers as well!) and was very impressed. The passionfruit margarita was the best I have had! The carne asada was also fantastic along with everything else. I wish we lived closer so we could visit again but if you’re looking for fantastic food, drinks and service I would highly recommend.

Conveniently located on Granada Blvd. we had a large party of about 20 and Monarca’s staff was friendly and service was fast. The shrimp enchiladas were tasty and filling. The pico and guacamole for chips were fresh and my blue margarita hit the spot. They even split the checks for us. Will definitely go back again soon.

Wow! The BEST shrimp and Birria tacos!! Seriously one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve ever been too. The handmade tortillas were so fresh and delicious! Friendly and attentive staff.
