I ordered the number 44 beef stew. The only flavor I can taste is spicy. No salt at all. And there is almost nothing in the stew, very few slice of beef. Other than this, one egg, a quarter of white online, and some bean sprouts. Not good. BTW, AC was broken there.

I would stay away from pork katsu. Definitely not worth the price. Coating was far from crispy. The meat was dry and tough to chew. I felt like I was eating re-heated frozen food. I recall pork katsu being good few semesters ago, and I don’t know what happened. I feel like I won’t be returning here anymore.

Beef Bulgogi was delicious and fresh, veggie japchae was equally delicious! The kimchi here is very good as well and goes perfectly with the dishes. Wait staff was attentive and quick.

I first came here three years ago when I was in College Station for the summer. I did not find out about it until my last week in town, and I believe I went three times that week because I liked it so much. I am now back in town for a few weeks, and I made it a mission to go back to Mong Chon. I was so glad that it is just as good as I left it, maybe even better than I remembered.

I was a little tentative once we sat down but I was blown away by the flavor with every bite. This meal took me by surprise and now I cannot wait to go back. You must eat here. The kimchi flavored vegetables provided before the meal were amazing. My favorite was the cucumber; I could eat it by the bowl. I ordered the beef short ribs because I asked for a recommendation from the waiter. He did not steer me wrong. I’m ready to taste the spicier menu items now.

Nice to see lots of Korean patrons here! Great food. I ordered the seafood bibimbap. It was so tasty, however it was SO spicy! There was no spicy symbol next to the menu item, so it surprised me when it was overly spicy (good thing I can handle heat!). I loved the pickles they give for starters, and the little yogurt drink they give to finish you off at the end. Quaint restaurant, friendly service, yummy food.

Mong Chon a taste of deliciousness. Incredible flavor, I’m always surprised by how good all of the varying items are!! This time we got 야채파전 (veggie pancake), 해물칼국수 (seafood noodle soup), 오징어볶음 (squid bokkeum) and they were all top tier. This is really a must eat at restaurant. However the squid can be a little tough.

Love the side dishes (esp the fishcake and the potatoes) and that they’re refillable! Tried the spicy chicken stew for the first time and it was great as well. The sweet iced coffee is great too!
