We decided to try Mongo’s on a whim, and so glad we did! This place has some amazing pizza, a great atmosphere, and the owner was great! He was definitely a highlight to our stop. So down to earth, funny and friendly, made the visit so much better. The pizza was cooked to perfection, and the taste was amazing. We even ordered a second pizza. Definitely will be eating here more! Highly recommend giving them a try, you certainly won’t regret it!

Got a 16 pizza be aware you get one free topping but all others are extra. Pizza tasted pretty good just not worth the price point.

Tried this place and it was decent. Service is quick and the worker was kind. However, my order; the Hamburger, was still pink and the fries were definitely not crispy. Clean and chill atmosphere. Overall experience was okay.

Our waitress, Mackenzie B was awesome! I had the Bama Bacon for appetizer & I highly recommend this sweet heat bacon. So so good! I had chicken parmesan with salad & was good & plentiful. Brought some home with me. I will be back

Everything about this place is amazing! The food is stellar and I absolutely love the staff! I highly recommend this place. Don’t order from Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, or Domino’s. Mongos blows all these other fast food pizza joints out of the water! THIS IS REAL AUTHENTIC ITALIAN COOKING! I also recommend the pasta and incredible bacon. I had no idea that this place even existed until tonight! Give it a try, I guarantee that you’ll love it! It’s better than ANY Olive Garden that I’ve ever eaten as well. Inexpensive food but the taste is a million bucks and you can’t beat that! Thanks Mongos! I will definitely be back!❤️

1st time customer. Ordered garlic knots and 16″ pizza with italian sausage. Garlic knots were black on bottom, not just over cooked but jet black. The inside was undercooked and gummy. Marinara sauce, for dipping, was good.

I’ve been to mongos a few times since their opening back in 2022 and unfortunately it hasn’t aged well. Waited over 30 minutes for appetizers and over an hour for pizza…keep in mind that they were not very busy. Kitchen staff was walking around with dirty clothes yelling across the restaurant to wait staff. Food was very bland. If you’re looking to waste time and money this restaurant is just for you! This type of business seems to be a trend for Jacksonville. Sad.

Not gonna lie, I’m quite disappointed. I wanted this place to be good, I ordered a pick up for a large grilled chicken with banana peppers. There was barely any chicken, the sauce was awful, and the rest was burnt. The worst part was the crust – I have no idea why it was so burnt or thin. I’m not even sure why I’m giving this place two star… they made it on time?
