Nice simple place with Italian style food and more than fair prices. Not for pizza only! Very friendly staff. Decent size portions ( actually, I got full with half of the salad and half lasagna). Open till 9 pm. Thank you for that. At 5 pm on Sunday the restaurant was half full. Good place to come with your family and friends.

My grown daughter and grown son. One grandchild had a wonderful day ☺️ and the pizza was awesome. I usually go to Robin’s for pizza but my daughter asked to go to Monica’s was surprised when it tasted ok . Pricey though

Monicals is a central Illinois favorite, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why. We’ve had more bad than good at all locations, by far the most inconsistent restaurant chain in my experience. Our pizza was undercooked rendering it inedible, crust was so soggy it just fell apart. Salad had slimy brown lettuce, and were given cheese sauce instead of Marinara for the bread sticks. Silver lining is pretty sure this last experience killed my wife and kids love for monicals. For a $70 it should be edible.

We love Monical’s and I grew up frequenting a different location. One of the main differences I’ve noticed here is that they must not clean their ovens enough. We’ve gotten carry out here several times over the years, hoping for better each time, just to find that the cornmeal on the bottom will be terribly burnt. Another thing that I’ve noticed is their breadsticks never seem that fresh and are cut very thin. We live closest to this location but will order from another in town from now on to avoid the burnt bottom and stale sticks.

The prices on the menu changed from the last time that I have ordered and since the price was significantly different, I asked the guy if the prices have changed the guy says no they didn’t so then I asked more questions of why I got an extra charge and he asked me when the last time i ordered was, i said a month ago. he says oh well the prices of change since the last time you’ve ordered since it was a month ago considering that’s what I just asked him Maybe let’s work on our customer service training Brennan??

My children and I went to redeem coupons they received from the public library. My order was taken but my name wasn’t. Pulled back up to get my order my children’s pizza was a little burnt overall okay. Won’t be going back.
