Surprisingly excellent restaurant! We were in town for a short weekend and went here for dinner. The service was excellent, they only had two people working but they were very nice and efficient even with a busy place. Food was really good and I was very happy they had a gluten free option which was quite good especially for gluten free. Good price as well.

We have been fans of Monical’s pizza since we were kids growing up in Canton. Over the years the Springfield Monical’s has gone downhill steadily, especially since it moved to the south location by Meijer. Pizza was tasteless again..probably not go again, and it’s a shame cause we loved it previously and reportedly its still good at the Canton location.

Visited at a slow time, 3 other tables. Pleasant waitress but she did order my pizza wrong. Either the oven or the pans needed cleaned. My pizza was dusted with blackened burnt charcoal tasting specks. For the inflated price of their pizza I expect good quality.

Shout out to Bri who served us. I love and worked for Monical’s for 13+ years but unfortunately had a most unpleasant experience at this location in the past so I would not have chosen to eat here but was a guest for a business meeting. I found this location to be cleaned up and Bri was fantastic! Bri, with her genuine server’s heart, is truly an asset to Monical’s as I observed her interactions with other guests as well. I let her know that DUE TO HER, I would return. Great job.
