It was a nice place to stop on our long journey. We were in and out under 40 min. Spaghetti was overdone. The pizza rolls were good. Custom pizza for an individual was a good size.

Stopped here with friends on an impromptu road trip back south during a snowstorm after our flights were cancelled. We wanted to get a break from the weather and try something new, as we had never heard of Monical’s. We were delighted with how delicious the pizza and drinks were, and the employees were very pleasant. The pic is of the aftermath, and the deluxe and meat lovers pizza leftovers were quite yummy later that night after more hours of driving in the snow.

This Monicals is very nice for the traveler and the local rural people. Service was adequate, and I have no complaint. My wife and I are here every trip we make to Chicago, about 4 times a year.

We were on the road on our way to Terre haute looking for a place to eat that wasn’t McDonald’s or burger king. I’m glad we found Monical’s. There was only one other customer when we had lunch there at around 3 pm. The young guy that took our orders was very attentive. We ordered a veggie pizza with pineapple an thin crust. We didn’t add cheese so the pizza was a little bland. They put lots of veggies, I wish we had ordered a regular crust. The place is big and looked clean with the exception of a couple of annoying flies.

We’re Chicago pizza fans at heart, so this pizza is a little different than we’re used to. However, Monical’s in Kentland is a very tasty lunch when we were hungry while on the road. The service is friendly and fast. I have dietary issues that force me to eat gluten-free. The gf pizza crust was delicious and surprisingly crispy! It was possibly one of the best GF pizzas crusts I’ve had. My pizza was also served in a disposable pan, which made me less worried about cross contamination. I didn’t have any adverse reactions after my visit. This is my regular lunch stop whenever I’m in the area.

The food was great! The veggie pizza is my favorite . They took our order but never told us how long it was going to be. We waited in the lobby and after awhile I just asked and it was done. I don’t know for how long but it was still warm. The breadsticks aren’t very good. They don’t have alot of flavor. We didn’t eat all of them. The sauce turned sour the next day. I don’t know what is up with that. Other than that it was good.
