We had a nice lunch here. The cheese curds were good and a half order was good for three people. The kids meal was served on a frisbee, which you can keep. But the other meals were served on paper or a paper boat. Even the silverware was plastic. I’ve never been served a burger on wax paper and it was odd.

Dropped in to see if they did gluten free burgers. They did a pretty good job. Also had to have the side salad as the fries were not gf. Crazy in there though. Still we would go back for a burger.

The food here is amazing, and it wasn’t super busy. We were seated right away. I had the “It’s all gouda burger” and my partner had the “bacon cheeseburger”. Both were fantastic and the fries were crisp and warm. Our server Drea was attentive and nice.

Monks restaurant in Wisconsin Dells is an absolute gem! We’ve been coming here each year for more than 8 years! With its outstanding food and delightful ambiance, it’s a must-visit for any food lover. The cheese curds here are unparalleled, undoubtedly some of the best in town and the marina is homemade and delicious. Their burgers are awesome and flavorful, and the Cubano sandwich is a great too. Portion sizes are big and price is reasonable. Not only is the food top-notch, but the service is also excellent, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Shout out to Brandina and the hostess for great service with a smile. From the moment you step in, you’ll be greeted with warmth and attentiveness. Monks restaurant truly knows how to leave a lasting impression. Highly recommended for a casual family dinner at the Dells!

The first day we went in just for drinks Sam was our bartender. We ask her for some local things to do. She mentioned Cimarolis supper club, devil’s lake for hiking and a couple other Hangouts for drinks and food. Saw a couple eating a burger and wished we hadn’t just eaten.

I like this monks because it’s atmosphere is awesome. Doesn’t feel like the chain “Monks”. Just another perfect divish bar that happens to serve monks food. Which is delicious might I add. The bartenders were great and we had a blast.
