I celebrated my 40th birthday with my family here 7/23/23. This was my first time eating here. I was really impressed with the service, scenery, and food. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The Lakeveiw room has a spectacular view of one of the finest lakes LaPorte County has to offer. The food was also spectacular. The food was like home-cooked recipes passed down in someone’s family with very large portions. It’s definitely not fancy dining with 12 servings of one bite each. This is real portions of delicious menu options that leave you completely stuffed. The prices aren’t horrible either. I’m definitely recommending Monroe crossing to friends and acquaintances in the future.

Wife and mother in law said the frog legs were the best they ever had and the chicken parm and freshly made onion rings were great! Thank you Monroe Crossing! Their staff is a breath of fresh air, smiling and nice.

Good place for craft beers, Big breakfast and lunch menu…….dinner specials……On the Lake! Had dinner there last night, fish fry Friday…….Dinner was WONDERFUL, big plat of fish, perfectly cooked….loaded mashed….hush puppies and a big ol salad……great meal, great view of the lake…. Very nice evening!

The food was good. The decor is old but the restaurant needs a good cleaning! The rug looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in days. Dust and cobwebs on a/c vents. The restaurant did not leave s good impression on us.
