Delicious French spot. Loved it! Kind staff and amazing food. The seafood platter (plateau) was incredible. So was the duck confit Went for my partners birthday and would definitely go back.

Monsieur Benjamin never misses! I had a gorgeously floral cocktail, sumptuous gratin with caramelized tomatoes, rich bone marrow and bacon jam with homemade bread, and delicious short rib steak au poirve. Last time I came I had the quail pie which is excellent.

not the best french restaurant in the city, and the tables were a bit close together which meant i kept getting bumped by the waiter and other people. that said, vibes are good, wine and dessert were my favorite parts of the meal.

We had dinner here tonight before going to the opera and it was a really good experience. The service was good and the food was excellent. I ordered the duck leg confit and my husband ordered the steak frites. My duck was cooked perfectly and tasted so good. I really enjoyed it. I would definitely go back for that again.

Food is good but its super overpriced, portions are tiny and service was slow. For two people we paid $150 and left hungry and food wasn’t exceptional for what you pay. It’s a nice to try but don’t think I would go again. I think the place is too overrated.

My group walked in to grab dinner before going to the orchestra. The restaurant was almost entirely full, and it sounded like it had a long reservation list. The hostess asked if we’d be willing to sit at the bar with all the tables being taken, we didn’t mind. It wasn’t a long wait from there, and it wasn’t super loud. My companions’ shared the bass, and I got the steak and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were super smooth, and the steak was so easy to cut. I got the “Raspberry Beret” to drink, it wasn’t super strong, sweet, or sour. My companion liked the red wine they had, and thought the bass was a bit salty. I saw the waitresses writing anniversary and birthday cards (presumably for guests) next to us at the counter. They seem to be up for celebration acknowledgments. The bartender served us complimentary Vermouth shots after dinner. They were spiced, yet tasteful. Overall, a nice and accommodating restaurant with a hefty price tag.

Food was not bad, but service was mediocre at best. They’re busy and understaffed. Nobody at front desk to greet us, our server was basically storming around with no proper service. But honestly their short rib & duck confit were both very tasty which were some small highlights.

Been to this restaurant several times now and each visit has not disappointed! In fact the experience has just kept giving. The food is amazing and the staff’s attention to detail is 1st class. So if you live in SF or are just visiting, MB is a must on your dine out list for sure ! Can’t wait to go back !!

Ignore the negative reviews, we had unbelievable service and the food was on another level! You’d be hard beat to find many restaurants in Paris delivering this standard. We visited on a Sunday and there was a line of hungry regulars waiting to get stuck in. Really convenient location and the big windows and open kitchen, make for a very enjoyable dinning experience. Can’t wait to go back!
