We arrived at 12:05 and we’re not served our meal until 1:15. The server was overwhelmed trying to serve everyone. Apparently she had more tables than she should have. They were apparently understaffed. We did not finish our meal until 2:00 , which was ridiculous. We had a coupon for $5 off of an appetizer, which was the only reason we ordered it. We did not notice this until we got our check. By that time, we were so frustrated that we didn’t want to wait any longer for it to be changed, so we paid our bill and left. The food was ok but not exceptional. We have eaten there several times and have received acceptable but never outstanding service. I think today’s experience probably did us in as far as eating at Montana Mike’s. I blame this on poor management!

First off let me start by saying if I could give zero stars I would. I will however be nice and give one since our meal was completely comped. We stood at the hostess stand for 3 minutes before finally being seated in amongst 6 dirty tables. Then it took our server 5 minutes to come ask us what we wanted to drink. It then took another 10 minutes for him to come back (without drinks) to get our food order which he asked each of us to repeat 3 different times (there were only 3 people at our table) we ordered our food and appetizers. Then after another 10 minutes he returned and said “a manager is making sure our drinks get made” then after another 10 minutes we finally got our drinks. One margarita on the rocks (with a few additional unidentified floaters) and a watermelon limade and one water. Then we waited an additional 15 minutes before they finally brought SOME of our food…. And by some I mean they brought our from the refrigerator cold appetizer with part of our entrees. No side salads for either of the overly cooked steak dinners and no zucchini for the other steak. The server then went back to get it. While he was gone my husband picked a hair off of his steak, as I was about to take a bite of my broccoli so I sat it back down on my plate only to discover the price/date sticker was in the bowl with my food. We tried numerous times to get the “managers” attention but he was too preoccupied with his phone to worry about us. After our server did go get him he offered to comp our check. We made sure to warn the couple in the parking lot not to go in that they were wasting their time. They thanked us for the warning and left. We went across the street to Chili’s and had a better steak and margaritas minus the nastiness and lack of terrible service. I will never return so no need apologize.

I would give 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me. This place is absolutely terrible. Service is horrible and management is worse considering we repeatedly ask to speak with the manager and were told they were to busy. Sat there for 35 mins with no drinks and when we finally got them the glasses were disgustingly dirty. Waited another 30 mins and still hadn’t received our food and never did. Server stopped coming to our table entirely when we asked to speak with the manager. We finally left and never had anyone say a word to us. My husband and I have worked in and managed restaurants for more then 15 years and we would quit on the spot if we ever had customers leave feeling the way we did. Thank you for ruining our mothers day! I would not recommend this place to anyone except the health department, which will be contacted first thing Monday morning.

went there sat. for a early father’s day. Appetizer was very good, salad was inferior, ordered 1/2 of a roasted chicken that was extremely dried out. I asked the waitress when it was cooked and she told me they cook them two days in advance and then reheat when ordered. I think they should let u know that. We had driven over 100 miles to get there because we had eaten twice that their restaurant in Branson, which has very good food, will not be eating at this location ever again. BYW, when complaining about my dried out chicken, the waitress said: It’s not my fault, I just serve it…….no effort to correct the situation

I had the ribeye with a baked potato the steak was bland with no real flavor and my potato was hard as a rock on one side. My wife had the Louisiana shrimp pasta the pasta was overcooked and pretty bad to be completely honest. The waiter was very nice and apologetic about the meal the only shinning spot.

Caitlin was our server tonight….she did a fantastic job. She was on top of keeping our drinks filled and asking if we needed anything else. She was very friendly and never once made us feel as though we were wasting her time or keeping her from anything.. very pleasant experience

We stopped by for a late lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and were blown away at how delicious the food was and how hospitable our host and server were. Poteau is lucky to have such a great little restaurant and we’ll certainly be coming again soon. Good job!

The restaurant is very beautiful when you walk in. As we were seated the tables all around appeared dirty. We ordered burgers and fries. As we are waiting for our meal to be cooked. The cook is continually yelling from the kitchen. He is yelling at the waitress, over nothing. A male manager comes from the kitchen saying nothing to any of the customer’s to apologize for the noise or anything. Our food was brought to us and the burgers are still slightly pink. I prefer a done burger. A woman manager goes in the kitchen and starts talking loudly also, addressing a cook named ” Steve” telling him to lay off the girls and if anything is cooked wrong it will all be on Steve. Then she leaves the kitchen, and she doesn’t apologize for the noise either. My waitress asked if I would like more water and I said “yes, please” a few minutes later she comes running out past our table to the front and then back to the kitchen. A few minutes later another girl brings a glass of water to my table, puts the glass on the table and walks away not saying a single word. If I wanted to go eat some place to hear cooks yelling, I would have gone to waffle house. My burgers would have been done and would only cost $5.00 for burger with fries not $8.00. This is a place I will not return to or suggest any of my family or friends to dine at. Maturity level is not were it should be for the price of the meals on the menu.
