Service is horrible, the gentleman working was really trying but not hitting the mark. No refills offered, no napkins offered, table didnt have salt shaker and I had to grab my own ketchup bote from another table. The food is horrible as well, that photo you see there is a chicken fried chicken and it was flavorless and rough even to cut. Fries were hot and soggy due to the grease. When you drive here really look at the exterior of the building and the thoughts your gut feeling will give you should be listened to. I didnt and had to go have lunch a 2nd time because I couldn’t eat the food.

I had a wonderful, huge avocado burger with cheese (American being the only option). Three of us shared a $5 order of what were the best onion rings I’ve ever had. Light, crispy batter. Simply scrumptious. My only gripe was that the soft drinks came in a can for $2/each. I always need refills and expect them to be free. My sister had the daily chicken fried steak special and said that it was very good.

The Monte Carlo cafe is a very down to earth and homie restaurant which I particularly enjoy. I lead a group of 20 or so folks who go out to dinner once a month and we have been to the Monte Carlo several times. The menu is somewhat limited, but what they do fix is very good. We plan to return.
