Normally I like the food here it has good mexican and salvadoran food but the service was atrocious today. My mother ordered me tacos with vegetables beans cheese and sour cream and they charged her 30 dollars for vegetable tacos swimming in grease with ripped up tortillas and a ton of iceberg lettuce with not a single bean or piece of cheese. Absolutely terrible service and absurd price, will be on the lookout for a better central american restaurant.

We tried this place for the first time through Uber eats. The food was ready within few minutes and got delivered. The food was amazing and delicious. We got the chimichanga and the fajitas. The meat was greatly cooked and the salad and rice were completely fresh. Loved the sauces that came with it but wish it had some jalapenos and sour cream. The beans and sauce tasted the same almost and the tortilla was very small for fajitas. Loved the price and the taste of the food, will visit again. Not sure about the in-person experience and dining atmosphere, as I see lot of bad reviews on here.

Came here at 20 minutes before they were closing and ordered tacos pupusas nachos and a torta everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Overall service experience and food was well worth it. Before I left I placed an order of pupusas and a torta to go.

Two friends put me on to this place for lunch. A small restaurant walking distance from Brighams. Walking in I saw many people from different backgrounds that made me feel good and comfortable. That day I tried Papusa for the first time. It was really good. Filled with bean and cheese. A coleslaw and savory dressing/sauce. There are menus to take and a big one on the wall with pictures of the dishes. We had horchata and a papaya smoothie. I will be back. Curious about other dishes.

Sad to write this because they had the best Chicken Tamales I’ve ever had on the east coast. I’ve always looked forward to food from here and have recommended this place to many people. My recent experience was really bad –unnecessarily rude service on the phone and even in person, were out of Tamales altogether, and then discovered they forgot part of my order. I was the only person in the restaurant. To top it off, after driving a good distance to pick up the order (it was Jan 1 and they wouldn’t deliver… which I understand), the food we got wasn’t good at all. Again… really bummed about this. Probably won’t be going back. 🙁

I’ve ordered from Montecristo on Huntington a few times and they are hit or miss. When my friend ordered from her house the order was a bit late, but the food was pretty good and I made a decision to order my burritos from them. The last two times I ordered they were extremely late and when I called to check in about my food the woman on the phone was rude and made me feel like I was wrong for calling. It’s unfortunate because the delivery guys are pretty cool and the food is good –at least when I’ve ordered, but the lady on the phone is not good with customer service and it shows and honestly affects whether or not I’d leave a good tip. They can definitely do better.

The food here is average and decent. Nothing to write home about but if you are looking for a meal then this place will get the job done. Delivery tends to be about 10 minutes late but for not leaving my house I cannot ask for more. They have always been very good about my dairy aversion and the delivery drivers are nice.
