I went to Pizza Montese today with my parents. We got there at 11am when they opened. We were greeted right away and the employees were very friendly and kind and helpful. There is a great salad bar. They then have Mac n cheese, lasagna, spaghetti, fruit, pudding. Then desserts are fantastic. Today was a oreo cookie dessert shaped like a slice of pizza and also apple dessert shaped like a pizza slice. I really enjoyed the gospel music too! Amen! Thank you!

Save your time and money and go to CiCis. It’s been a while since we’ve been and it used to be great pizza was fresh and staff was attentive. Tonight there was hardly any pizza put out in the hour we were there and it was slow. Staff needs to pay more attention to the level of the buffet and refill when needed. The only person who seemed to have any care was the girl taking care of the tables. We will not return.

A friend recommended this place. We got the buffet, which I typically don’t care for. But the food was decent. If there wasn’t a pizza you wanted on the buffet, they made it fresh. The staff were extremely friendly.

Ordered pizza and fries told me 15 to 20 minutes. Arrived at 15 minutes. Was told a couple more minutes. they totally forgot to make my pizza. My fries sat there getting cold while they made my pizza. Never mention that they forgot my pizza so I said they’re waiting another 15 minutes. Period worst service ever and will not go back!

Over priced for the buffet, there was very little to select no pepperoni or cheese was ready the whole time we were there. Pretty much filled up on soda waiting for pizza to come out to buffet. This place used to be one of the top places for family’s to come and eat pizza for a decent price. It’s just simply over kill

So, the first time I visited was for the buffet. Well, the lasagna was cold. The meat of whatever kind it was in the salad bar was gross. The salad bar wasn’t very good as far as selections go. Pizza was good. Those cannolis were the worst thing I’ve put in my face. And the Christian music blasting rounded up my not so good of an experience. I’m not a bigot but to alienate people with being forced to listed to that is not okay in my humble opinion. Later I ordered in a couple “Panini” sandwiches for delivery. A Panini grill is used to make Paninis. I got cibatta bread sandwiches. Suffice it to say, next time I’m in that area of WV, I will not be returning.

Montese’s is a semi monthly, minimum, go-to spot with my family. We generally visit on Sunday after church or occasionally mid week when all the kids want is pizza. The buffet hits every time we’re there. It’s super affordable, is always clean, salad bar is always fresh, and they keep a quality assortment of pizzas hot fresh even when slammed on a Sunday during the church rush. The staff is always courteous, asking for any specialty pizza orders to add to the bar, and coming by to remove the dirty dishes. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for quality pizza nonstop.

My family and I use to enjoy coming here as an occasional dinner outing. We were highly disappointed this time. We came out for dinner and requested a pizza, it was never made. There were 3-4 pizza options that had been sitting prior to our arrival. No fresh pizzas were made during our visit. Fries were mixed in the meatballs and never cleaned out. Once seated no staff checked on us like they use to do. Sure do miss how it use to be. Quite a disappointment for the price we paid. Not sure we will return anytime soon.
