Hearty portions, good prices, excellent Korean home cooking. It’s self serve, so keep that in mind. Every table has traditional Korean condiments. The banchan dishes are super and they include extra seasonings particular for your dish. The Bibimbap came with gochugan sauce and sesame oil. I recommend this place.

Food is a 10/10. Just don’t order the ox bone soup – I made the mistake ordering it the first time and it wasn’t seasoned because you have to season it yourself with the spices offered at the table. However the seollangtang (#17) and cold noodles were sooo good! The way they season the seollangtang is so clean and refreshing I find myself craving it even on the hottest days. This place is self serve. The portions are actually huge for 1 person so the prices are understandable. From my Korean friend who brought me here, he said it tasted just like home! My friend recommended this to me and it’s such a hidden gem in the Carrollton Korean plaza. It’s a very Korean-esque spot. Highly recommend over some other super aesthetic places in the plaza

The lady and gentleman at the front were sooo kind to me. It was my first time in and the gentleman showed me where to get cutlery and water and brought over my sides.

Being non Korean we were a bit scared to come here after seeing the other comments about the mean staff. Everyone was nice and food was great. Since we do not know Korean cuisine we do not know if Koreans would consider it good but we thought it was. We got a large order to go and everything was so nicely packaged up! See pic.

went to this place last night for dinner with my girls and the food was lit. it’s more of a order yourself, pick it up, and drop after you eat kinda casual spot. family-friendly ofc. the vibe is so korean you legit feel like you are in korea. spacious and neat layout. good service. id def come back to eat blood sausages – they are so delish! and so as other soups we got. parking can get tricky over the weekend but that’s everywhere.

My biggest concern is the price. I think it’s not quite worth it. Look at the dishes for a regular combo, 3 sides with kimchi(cheap to buy if you walk around the Korean grocery and you will see), and the entree is a soup with 6-7 pieces of pork belly(also cheap), and some other small veggies. and a white rice. This costs about $13 plus some 15-20% tip if you want to offer. Actually this is a self-service restaurant(pick up from the counter, return by yourself and that’s it) and the tipping screen should be posed to customers.

Food quality went down. Too much of msg. Soondae qulity. It is self service but price seem not low. I served whole thing for my family including removing dishes afterward. I was happy for family but I didnt feel fair.

My favorite place to get soups. I do feel like with the new owner, they don’t give away kimchi proportionally when ordering to-go. Always craving the Korean blood sausage soup with cabbage (#3). Self service here is nice.

Store was quite hard to find with all Korean words and a very small English “Korean kitchen” on the sign. 3 of us ordered #7 stir-fried blood sausages, #32 spicy stir-fried squid, #5 spicy blood sausages soup and assorted blood sausage. However it was quite a lot for us since we were all small eaters. Everything was ok but it didn’t suit my taste. The restaurant is like fast food restaurant. You order at the counter and they’ll give you an alarm. When foods are ready, the alarm will vibrate. You have to come to pickup area to get your foods. They have rice and side dishes at the self-service area. You’re allowed to bring home the leftover rice and side dishes.
