Imagine my delight in the early afternoon, when The Cactus Cafe and Hole in the Wall hadn’t opened and Cain and Abel’s was inexplicably closed, walking along The Drag only to discover a special: $2 tequila and $2 domestics. Service was excellent and plenty friendly. The venue was clean. The music was a lively (Cuban?) mix. I’d just eaten lunch, so the food rating is speculative, but what I saw looked good! Definitely a gem.

Moody’s Kitchen and Bar had good burgers and chips n queso. I was expecting a server but just have to order online even though I was dining in. Would I come back, yeah probably but not hurrying back there. It is close to campus and Bass Concert Hall and Frank Erwin Center.

I have been hosting monthly social hours for groups at Moody’s. The owners and staff are so accommodating and polite. They always do their best to fulfill any special requests I have. We love the atmosphere and the patio is super cute! The food and prices are great. We will continue to host our social hours at Moody’s.

One of our diners waited 15 min longer for their food than the other two. Food was below average – chicken tenders were too peppery with no salt and too much gummy flour taste. Loaded nachos were soggy and cold.

My first time ever going into this place was literally nobody there, but we gave the restaurant a chance. The guy at the bar gave us the menu’s and I told him much hubby and I are going to sit outside. We waited and waited and nothing. I went inside the resturant some guy should up at the bar and he already had his drink. I’m told the guy at the bar hey, we been waiting out there for a long time. He said o you where supposed to come to the bar and order ♀️ well I told him we arw going somewhere else.

I liked the atmosphere but the food was just okay. It was definitely bar food. We wanted to get pizza but it was out of stock. The burgers were an okay size and fries were actually decent. The staff was really nice. Biggest thing make sure to look before you place your order there was already a service charge (Tip) included before I noticed and I gave them an additional 20%. So I gave them a little over $20 dollar tip for just okay food and you had to walk up to the bar to get your drinks besides someone just bring water over.

It wasn’t that great. The pizza tasted like they took it out of the freezer and threw it in the oven. Plus you order at the bar and they take it to you when it’s ready. No server and they automatically charge 18%
