Working downtown, transferred from out of town, and was looking for some good food. Found Mookies Munchies and this is the spot ! Good food , actually cooked thoroughly! Mookie puts a lot of skill and effort into his food and business ! Cool brother from Chicago – good conversation, great atmosphere, and good eatin’, no cut corners! About to have all of downtown at Mookies Munchies! Try (anything on the menu actually) the wings and slap ya mama burger – make sure to upgrade to the lemon pepper cheese fries! There’s free arcade machines with street fighter, mortal kombat, Pac-Man and more to keep you or the kids busy while you wait! Come through !

My husband and I get ourselves a gyro meal every week. We live across town so we usually use a delivery service. It takes under 10 minutes for them to make our 2 meals when we order and pickup ourselves.

The owners are amazing, Corey is the main guy upfront when I go and he’s always kind, polite and on top of it with all of his charisma. The foods amazing, and reasonably priced, it’s an awesome family owned business I recommend it a million percent especially with how late they stay open.

Was looking for a good Italian Beef and found Mookie’s Munchies. Small place and kind of late hours, but it did not disappoint! Best Italian beef in Michigan and better than some places I’ve been to in Chicago. The owner is also very friendly and loves to chat. Glad I found this place and will definitely be back.
