Moon Cafe is one of the most special restaurants in all of Ann Arbor, and is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I used to come here with my friends often when I was a student because the portion sizes were really good for the price, and I could often eat two meals from just one dish. Mr. Moon and his wife are also incredibly kind — my friends and I had stopped by late one night, after a really tough exam. All of us managed to squeeze into one booth, but Mr. Moon offered to keep our bags on another table so we could sit more comfortably. We were tired and hungry, and the food really helped cheer us up! He also gave us some extra rice free of cost and joked around with us 😀

Good Bi Bim Bap about the average I’d say. Decent sized dishes. Had the Spicy Shrimp as well as an order of Chicken Dumplings. All in all good. A bit pricey, but on campus… what do you expect?

The other day, I tried Kimchi pork rice here and was surprised by. The taste was pretty good and came with a handy size bowl. I also picked up other munchbowl menus and they were pretty good too. I usually stay a lot in front of my desk and its comfy to eat simple and good.

My mom (who is korean) and I went to this Cafe and it was very hot inside. When she spoke to him about it asking if the AC could be turned on he refused because he said 74 degrees inside! He was rude and didn’t show good customer service. The food amount was too small for the price we paid. We won’t be returning.

i’ve been meaning to go here all school year and finally went tonight! the (who i assumed to be) owner was super nice, the dukbokki udon was everything that i had hoped for, and i also really liked the kimchi fried rice (although i personally would order extra spam the next time i get it)! 10/10 experience, i will definitely be going back again soon (gotta try their famous ice cream too!)

Filling, affordable veg filled option near campus! I found this place after being disappointed so many other nearby options were just meat and carbs. Nothing wrong with that, but was looking for an alternative to Sweetgreen with fresh veg options. I got the bibimpap, and it was flavorful and fresh. Will definitely be back.

The place was dirty and unwelcoming, the person behind the counter didn’t even say hello. I sat down to wait to my friend to arrive and the guy behind the counter said I shouldn’t sit here if I am not ordering. I informed him I was waiting for someone. When my friend arrived she asked to use the restroom to wash her hands he said they don’t have bathrooms. We left

So flavoral and perfect! I got the bulgogi, it was juicy and enjoyed every bit. Just wish the serving size was bigger (for the price) and had more veggies.

Small, cozy Korean diner serving rice bowls, noodles, and desserts. Personally enjoy the Bibimbap with beef (pictured). It comes with a lot of tasty vegetables and a perfectly cooked runny egg. You can choose whichever protein you like, and tofu is an option if you’re vegetarian or just avoiding meat.
