Food is adequate. Certainly not at the same level as the Moonies at Anderson Mill and 183. Service is abysmal though. Orders are wrong, they never check on you and act lile they are in their high school cafeteria.

We had 2 nights in a row of Moonies. Great food and service. My granddaughter, Ember, was working in the kitchen, so we had to visit her as much as possible. Coming from Michigan, and if we’re ever in Texas again, we’ll be sure to drop in!

It’s unfortunate that this location replaced the original. I frequented the original when it opened and I know for a fact the customer service and quality has gone downhill. I still enjoy the food though it seems the patties are smaller than they once were. The customer service is what left a bad taste in my mouth. The past two times I’ve gone I had to stand at the front for about 10 minutes before being seated (other locations you order at the front and seat yourself). After waiting I was sat with my two young sons. The waitress provided three adult menus. I asked if she had any kinds menus and she brought back only one and no crayons which was really the main reason my kids wanted it. I didn’t want to ask for anything else because each time the waitress doesn’t come back for about 20 minutes. Despite this, we spent a collective half hour there and the waitress never returned to take our order. This is the last of many times we have experienced this kind of poor service. We left and went elsewhere for lunch.

Walked through the front door, restaurant empty on a Saturday at 11:30 am. Took several minutes to get greeted after sitting down. Waitress continued to bring us the wrong drinks. A sweet and unsweetened tea. Took 4 tries to get it right. Took bare minimum of 45 minutes for 2 burger. Food came out ice cold. Waitress never came back and checked on us after dropping food. So irritated by the time I left I couldn’t even complain to the manager. That’s what happens when you let a bunch of children run your restaurant. Never again. Atmosphere was cool though.

Happy to see the location has found a new home. I always enjoy moonies, always have I am however on the fence about a sit down and serve location. The Menus are limited compared to what they used to have, but it might just be due to just opening. This is an old Mexican food location and not much has changed as far as appearance. The food however is excellent as always. The burgers never disappoint and their fries are always a delight, crispy and hot. The Chilli cheese fries were a little disappointing as the switched to nacho cheese as opposed to the classic shredded cheddar they used to top it with. The chicken Salad was excellent, fresh and tangy with the dressing. The gluten free bun and veggie burger were also really delicious. All in all it was a great experience, a little more expensive than previously but that’s inflation for ya, the decor is very sparse and it still feels like a Mexican restaurant, the parking entry is tricky turn down the street and pull in unless you have a truck it’s a curb not a driveway in the front. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help in anyway they can. 4.6⭐️ overall.

I’m currently on a carnivore diet which means that I only eat meat, eggs and some cheese. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with a fried egg and in spite of me requesting for the egg to be soft cooked (it came out well cooked), the meal was VERY DELICIOUS. My only complaint was that the plastic knife I was given to eat my burger in a bowl was completely unable to cut the bacon. I understand that my situation is unique so I’m grateful to have a good burger place in Leader who can accommodate my requests and produce such a yummy burger.

Here in Leander things close really early. We showed up 15 minutes to close and were going to order to go but the gentleman insisted that we sit. Ao we sat and ordered drinks, an appetizer by recommendation of the host, and our burgers. The food came out super fast and fresh and the experience was awesome. They were Cleaning and shutting down, which to be honest, o felt bad about keeping them late but we ate quickly and were out super fast. They were all very nice and the food was awesome as always.

I had a terrible experience with the customer service at Moonie’s Burger in Leander, Texas. The staff members showed no hospitality, simply glancing at customers without offering any assistance or a welcoming attitude. Communication between the three staff members and the person delivering food was non-existent. My order was given to other customers, and I received the wrong food. It was the worst management I’ve ever witnessed.

Had the Moonies double-decker. Was pretty good, very juicy. Also had the chicken wings, which I was not a fan of. They had a bit too much flour on them, for my teast, which made them dry. My son had their Chile fries, which were also pretty good.
