Delicious cafe located in the heart of downtown Boise. If you are looking for a large plate or amazing flavors this is your spot. You definitely will not leave Moons hungry.

I have to admit, they had me at the rolling chairs. It is the restaurant accessory I didn’t know I needed. The beignets were amazing and the homemade honey butter was to die for. It seems like every dish is loaded with options for you to choose from, like adding sausage baby and mushrooms to crispy hash browns. I ordered the chorizo omelette. It had great freshly made pico de gallo and I had my choice of hot sauces. My daughter loved her Moon baby. It is halfway between a pancake and a crepe. The homemade raspberry compote really made the dish. The service was phenomenal. Just a great experience.

Love going to Moon’s Kitchen! Go early or else expect a bit of a wait, they fill up quickly on the weekends. Eggs benedicts are my favorite, my husband is a lemon ricotta pancake fan. They serve espresso too. This is my favorite downtown Boise breakfast spot.

I got Moon Babies & it was enough food for two people to comfortably share. The raspberry sauce was excellent, the crepe/pancake texture was really great, and it was overall a great meal. Started with beignets but that isn’t necessary because I took most of my meal home. The service was great, environment was really great… Would recommend trying!

These were taken before the Great Depressive pandemic. Moons is a great place to enjoy an amazing breakfast and a yummy Mimosa! My Chicken fried steak was delicious the Omelette huge and amazing! Great flavor with everything on the table! As you can tell I’ve been going through my phone as I’m stuck in Southern Oregon where there are no dine in spots and dreaming of Moons. Stay safe people! Eat well!

I’d put a bad review so they were a little less busy when we go but…This place is amazing and I have nothing bad to say. The atmosphere, the service, the food… all of it is great! We compare every other breakfast place we have been to to Moons (they don’t stand up). The Monte Cristo is the best in Boise by far! The biscuits, Beignets, Moon babies and breakfast burritos are all amazing! We have not had a bad meal or experience here in the last six years since we have found them.
