Great find in Ventura. Large dishes of super tasty food at reasonable prices, with friendly attentive service! What more could you ask for? Go hungry, portions are large. I would avoid the fried spring rolls, everything else was AMAZING!

I’m hooked on Thai food. It seems like most towns now have Thai restaurants, but few have really good, authentic Thai places. Moons is the real deal. This place is awesome: intensely flavorful, good portions and reasonably priced. We got our food to go and everything was delicious and would be ordered again: green curry, Thai fried rice, drunken noodles, pad kra pow with a fried egg, chicken larb. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Just plan ahead. The place gets really busy and a to-go order may take an hour to be ready. Worth the wait.

Stopped by before a show at the music hall. Had the fried chicken, Kai Tod, and Pad Thai to go. The employees were working hard on lots of orders, and were very kind even though it was busy. This was the best Thai food I’ve ever had! Flavorful and huge portions. I will make this place part of my permanent restaurant rotation in the Ventura area.
