Excellent Italian food! The veal parmigiana was great and the meatballs are scrumptious! The atmosphere is so nice, comfortable and nicely decorated with a great bar area, some booths and tables near a fireplace. Servers were very efficient.

Had the chicken franchise and it was melt in your mouth tender. The garlic knot bread is delicious too. The great thing is they’re open on a Monday when everywhere else is closed

Nice Italian restaurant with good service and relaxing atmosphere. Sometimes come here for lunch when I’m in the area. Never been disappointed, but still waiting to be amazed. I admit, that’s hard to do! Service is usually good. My only complaint here would be the water usually tastes like Middletown’s public pool flavored tap water. Please keep it filtered!

Never dined in, only ordered for takeout. Food is great when made correctly. Have had several orders either made wrong, got another person’s order, or one of two dinners forgotten about and had to wait an additional 15 minutes to prepare. Chicken wings and pizza are top!

Having worked as a waitress myself I thought the server was incompetent. We were seated and with in 5 minutes the server came to our table and asked if we were ready to order dinner. This was prior to asking if we would like a cocktail. We told her we would like a drink and when she came with the drinks we ordered an appetizer and our dinner choices. We received our salad before our appetizer. My husband ordered clams over pasta. They used canned clams and the garlic in the sauce was burnt. My dinner was fine and the salad was fresh. I don’t think we will go bac.

Wasn’t sure what to expect since they have pizza to dinner service with table linen. Getting seated was interesting, the older woman doing the seating seamed flustered, and confused. When we did get seated for our reservation, service was prompt and efficient. We ordered chicken parmigiana, Chicken francese, and linguini with white clam sauce. The salad was fine, nice bowl of garlic knots were good. Everything was flavorful and substantial portions. The pasta was all perfectly cooked aldente. The only thing not up to par was the white clam sauce, a few fresh clams, with a pile of chopped processed clams on top. They were decent quality, but not fresh clams for sure. All in all, a good meal.

Morinas is my favorite place to go and sit down and have a nice date. They have a fantastic variety of options on the menu and the meals are impeccable. The service is great and I always enjoy my experience here. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Great amount of food for the value.

A very solid 4 stars. If you are looking for a restaurant that provides large portion sizes, that has quality food at a great price you found it at Morina’s. 19 dollars gets you a whole chicken parm dinner which includes salad, garlic knots, pasta and 2 large pieces of chicken parm. The drink prices are very reasonable, especially for wine. Our server was very friendly and personable, however she did seem to disappear a couple times. There’s plenty of parking and it never seems to be beyond crowded where you have to wait. It’s worth the drive, a great change up from the busy main st middletown restaurants.

We went for dinner after a Saturday matinee. We had a 6 pm reservation, and they seated us at 6, but they were very busy, and the kitchen was very slow. The arhe dining room was full, and the acoustics were terrible. I could hear conversations at adjacent tsbles better than my own table. As people left and the room was at 50 percent, we could have a conversation. The free garlic knots were very good, but the stuffed mushroom appitizer was only good. I got a large Morina special pizza. I found it to be good, but crust, sauce, and toppings were bland. I wish I had gotten the veal Parmigiano. My wife got the chicken paccata, and it was excellent. I’ll go back when they are not as busy to try the veal parm.
