Morita’s is a little cafe with awesome Cuban food and great prices. We were so glad we stopped because the charming ladies running the cafe are so sweet, and the Cuban sandwiches we got were excellent!

Little place by the highway but the food is good and portions are huge. The Cuban sandwich was very good.

Great place for great Cuban sandwiches. We flew in midday and wanted to get out on the boat quick so we didnt go grocery shopping, we pulled in here which is right next to our place and told them we were going on the boat. They were kind enough to place them in a big aluminum bin and package them neatly so it was an easy transfer to the boat.

OMG!! We stopped here and thought that the customers outside was a good sign. After eating there, I can say that the sign was an understatement. I ordered the pulled pork special with beans and salad; what I got was a dinner sized portion of Cuban goodness. My kids each orders the steak and cheese sandwiches, and the steak was soooooo tender. My wife got the Cuban sandwich, and it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff was wonderful and I have the feeling that I was looking at 3 generations of Cuban culinary angels. They were friendly, polite, and professional. This is one place that I will return to if I am in the area again. In the meantime, I can only hope to find someace 1/2 as good at home.

Easy to miss this hidden gem, but you’ll be glad you stopped in— look for the handwritten sign off the Highway. Authentic, delicious Cuban food, drinks, and desserts served by really nice folks. The daily special Ropa Vieja platter, cafe con leche, and varieties of flan were a hit! There is no seating inside the cafe, but they have a seating area outside in the shade and getting your meal to go is just as delicious.

We make a stop in every trip. Posted hours say 3 but one day they were closed earlier when we came by. We also came about 2:20 another day and they were getting ready to close. I recommend going a bit earlier in the day so you don’t miss out!!
