Working to find a place for breakfast when I landed I happened upon this place. Wasn’t ‘sure’ with diner in the name. I love diners but the typically have the save foods. The pics and menu sounded good and different. Also looked small which can be a positive so gave it a whirl. Delicious! The fried chicken spicy is a must. It is an amazing blend of spices and good kick. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. The loaf for the chicken boagie was so soft and fresh. The gravy is a ham gravy and not as thick as the NC gravy I’m used too, but very good. Very soon they will have their license so they can serve Mimosas. Highly recommend!

Loved the atmosphere and friendly staff! A very tiny place that seemed to be buzzing with people. We were there Saturday morning for breakfast! We had some biscuits and gravy, which weren’t our favorite, but not terrible. I had bacon and eggs and pancakes. The bacon was decent but the eggs could have been mixed more before scrambling them. The pancakes had a weird taste and color. Didn’t much care for them. My husband had bacon, eggs, hash brown and toast. He said it was just ok. Probably not a bad place to eat once…decide for yourself!!

Friendly staff! Great atmosphere! Awesome food! We ordered the Fried Chicken Boagie and the Slinger (with gravy). It was a great breakfast experience and we will definitely be back!

Heard really good things about this place and finally got the chance to go. It’s a cozy little place . Not many seats available but not cramped either.

Briefly, biscuits and gravy for me are always going to be weighed against my experiences from childhood. Whether this is “fair” or not, I would like to think that such an honest confession might help you take this review for what it is. I am just a man that loves biscuits and gravy in way that lends itself to being one of the many joys I have in this life.

Love this little place on Cherokee. Just happened to come across it a few months ago and have been back many times since. The staff is super friendly and the menu, while limited, is all high quality and delicious. You might want to get there early because when the food is gone, it’s gone. I personally love their take on the Slinger. Lots of flavor, not just a hot mess. If you are looking for a new place for breakfast or brunch that’s really down to earth, you can’t go wrong here.

Discovered this gem this morning when the place we were going to go to breakfast wasn’t open yet. Service was good. I had a boagie, which is a breakfast sandwich on a fresh-baked hoagie. I got it with bacon, which was chopped and crispy and mixed in with the eggs. And my husband enjoyed his chicken and egg sandwich and biscuits and gravy, which had good flavor and delicious fresh biscuit. Check this place out!

We tried the new Morning Glory Diner over on Cherokee Street. Very cool place and amazing food! Best biscuits and gravy I’ve had outside of Texas! Housemade sausage was delicious (and also in the gravy). Peach pie was great too. We’ll be back!
