My wife and I had a great experience today at Moroso. The food was fresh, made to order and gourmet. From the owner Dan, to the staff, our experience couldn’t have been better. We were greeted with a smile from the moment we walked in. Our favorite dishes to date are the lobster ravioli and our favorite pizza was the San Daniele. Great place for a date night!

I had my first experience there, date night with the husband, and MAN WAS I SURPRISED!! All my expectations of a small family owned businesses!! I was so excited to go, that when me and the husband talked about it in the car ride I had the expectation of (if I had a food business) every one that came in would be treated as if they entered my home and I was cooking a meal for them!

Went here with my boyfriend, my best friend and her husband. The wine and goat cheese ravioli were excellent. Pizza was great. They also had a 17 layer eggplant lasagna that was to die for. My only minor complaint was that we waited a very long time for our food. But that could have just been because it was a Saturday night. It wasn’t an issue as we had no where else to be but if you have after dinner plans make sure you allow for enough time.

This is what you call a hidden gem! The food here is outstanding. Ordered the wild hog pizza. I wasn’t to sure about coleslaw on pizza, but man oh man it was one the best combinations I have ever had. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was great too, even with a packed house on a Saturday night. We got the pleasure of meeting the owner Dan, as he visited every table. He even has the handlebar mustache to go with it. All in all, this was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a while.

Folks, Moroso is one of the most unique, friendly dining environments in Waco with the best quality & authentic Italian food around. I have never been disappointed. A nice place to eat and relax. Had the pesto pizza and espresso martini. Service was fast and friendly. Food arrived quickly and hot. The pizza was amazing, and the martini had me bouncing off the walls. A must try if in the area.

I came in this past Friday to eat, and, of course, I forgot to make a reservation which I would most definitely recommend. However, the incredible hostess was able to squeeze me in. I had the chef special which they do weekly on Fridays and Saturdays. It was a Veal Parmesan. When I tell you, this dish was incredible. It was some of the best cuisine that I’ve ever had in Waco. I would recommend anybody try Moroso’s. This place is truly like pulling up a seat at an Italian family’s dinner table. 10/10 recommend
