12 Feb 2022 – First time diners, will NOT BE THE LAST TIME! My wife, son and I discovered this hidden gem nestled away in NE Cape Coral as we were heading home towards Daytona. I’ll start off with the summary first… In short, this was one of the BEST Italian dinners we’ve ever enjoyed! The food was excellent, the service was beyond amazing and the price was right! This restaurant is the real deal… Authentic Italian, like a family pizzeria straight outta Brooklyn or Queens in NYC. Our waitress was Virginia. She was very friendly and very personable… A pleasure to speak with! She really made our dining experience a pleasure! We started with delicious garlic knots, swiming in a small pool of garlic butter. There’s nothing better then extra garlic butter… My son had pasta e fagioli and salad my wife had the “small” calzone and I had the eggplant rollatini seated in a tender nest of spaghetti. I was completely stuffed by the time I was done…. I shoulda stopped, but I couldn’t stop… IT WAS DELICIOUS! I left no room for dessert, yet we were presented with rich chocolate cake and creamy moist Tiramisu… We couldn’t eat it while seated at the table so we took it with us and enjoyed it the next day. (honestly, I snuck some of each late that night after we arrived at home… and got in trouble the next day ). All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant… The food and service are top notch, and the prices are more than fair! See the pictures of our delicious meals and the awesome servers that make this place a pleasure to visit! We arrived shortly before closing time… Yet everything tasted fresh as if just made. Where should I start? Walking into this place made me think of NY. Calzone and Stromboli were both huge and awesome. Never had so much sausage and peppers on a sandwich; brought over half home with me. Lasagna magnificent. Garlic rolls absolutely delicious; couldn’t eat just one. Place was crowded and busy. Waiting line out the door for carry out. Staff handled everyone efficiently, effectively and with professional courtesy. They were excellent. Reservations for over 5 please.

Morrone’s, ah what can I say? How do I start? Let’s see…I know. MAGNIFICO! While building the Clinic next door to this fine establishment I noticed the owner Michael sitting out front talking with one of his waitresses. It was 11:30 am and lunch was around the corner so I walked up asked if the restaurant was open and with smiles they both said yes!

Ordered a steak stromboli and received a orginal. Bread was burnt on the stromboli and it was a greasy mess. While it tasted great woulda preffered my order was right before I got home. Ordered a small pizza with peppers and cheese also overcooked as well. Doubtful I will be back.

A hidden treasure in Cape Coral. Blink and you miss it but be sure to stop by. My wife and I stopped for a late lunch one day. We had actually stopped at the bagel place in the same plaza but when we realized it was closed, we decided to check this place out. We only had the sandwiches but they were delicious. It’s not very often that you order an Italian hoagie and you get an actual Italian hoagie. Highly recommend that you give this place a visit.

Tried to place an order for delivey tonight and was told they don’t deliver, please don’t advertise that you deliver. Then tried to place an order for pick up of chicken alfedo and osso bucco and was told I have to put the order in 48 hours in advance for an osso bucco. They can guarantee they won’t be getting any orders from me or my communities. Worst answers I’ve ever had from a restaurant.
