This place was recommended to us by a longtime Tuscon resident. We ordered the special of the day which was a Chili Tamale and carne asada burrito. The Tamale was tasty but one note and it came with a little strip of green chili. The burrito was of high quality meat and flavored nicely. Portions were small for the price on their menu. We spent $33 ($40 with tip) for two meals and an order of lemonade.

My family often orders takeout from this spot and we always love the food. Today we decided to order drinks while we waited for our takeout. When we first walked in, it took about 5 minutes of standing at the front door before anyone acknowledged us (was not busy). One of the wait staff wiped off our table with a dirty towel and then asked for our drink order. She brought out chips and salsa and we continued to wait for our drinks for about 15 minutes while she did a numerous amount of other tasks. After time had passed, we finished our drinks and not once did she check on us or offer refills. She walked past our table 8+ times but ignored us each time. One of the other wait staff was seen sitting down and chatting with a table while other tables were not taken care of. We understand food takes time to make but when no one is checking in for the entirety of our visit, that wait seems significantly longer. When the food finally arrived, I gave the waitress my card which took another 20 minutes for her to even cash me out. We ordered 3 separate entrees. Mine in particular, the #7 enchiladas had a HAIR in it and the meat was very dry. I usually really like this place but I will never dine in here again. If I were to offer advice, I would say that the wait staff should check in with their tables more. Even if it’s not their table, they should be helping each other out to ensure customer satisfaction!

I have always been a regular here, years now. We usually come here on the weekend, usually morning for breakfast. I have never complained about the food ever. The food is great. But the food cannot help the service you get. Luis was the best server here. Now that he has left its loke the service is nothing. The guy who cleans the table is very good at making sure chips and drinks are filled.

I frequently eat at Mosaic Cafe Dos; wether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it doesn’t matter because the food, drinks, atmosphere, and staff always exceed expectations. Every experience the food has always been fresh, made to order, beautifully presented, and flavorful. It helps that the prices are reasonable for the quality and plate portion. Bland, to accommodate the old bitties that can’t handle real mexican food. They don’t want to be sued by those blue hairs. It’s not their fault…just get extra condiments and salt and pepper to taste. No flavor. However, the staff and customers are very friendly. I can’t go back until they decide flavor is more important than what pill a blue hair needs to take with their food.

This place never disappoints! Food is always super fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly too. Your order may take a little while to come out but it’s worth the wait to get top quality. I highly recommend the cheese enchiladas and Chile Colorado plate.

I don’t write reviews at all but This needs to be shared, I don’t think I’ve had worse service, it was horrible, march 26th around 9:30 am , we walked in and sat down and waited 10 minutes until the waiter started helping us ( not busy) finally brought us menus and ask us what we wanted to drink, my wife ordered, got the order in for my 2 year old son and as I was asking for coffee he put his finger up at me, i guess hold..? and he turned to the table next to us and helped them and walked off I waited 5 more minute as he decided to help others , I called him over as he was walking by and I swore he said shush and kept walking. I have never felt That amount of disrespect out of nowhere, and have never walked out of a place , I highly recommend staying away from the place as I walked out and other customers were complaining about the quality of food and service mainly. A huge disappointment and the worst cafe I’ve ever been to.
