Great place for a date night. We had reserved a table for the BBQ and our experience was excellent, the food was tasty and our server Justin was so helpful and friendly. I would recommend getting the all you can eat. For 2 we spent $170 for 4 drinks and the all you can eat. Get the bikini bottom it was hit! Strong and delicious. Next time we are going to go back and try the hot pot.

Mosu Korean Bbq and Hotpot, wolf road Albany N.Y. when your palette craves korean bbq Mosu will accommodate that palette, either al la carte or fix price (all you can eat),we opted for fixed price (all you can eat) which is a better value so you have more variety of seafood,appetizers, meat,vegetables, soup, your table has a iPad which you select the dishes you would like to eat and your wait staff brings out your selection, sets up grill etc.we had salmon fillets,sliced pork,sliced beef (4 slices each) shrimp and you grill the meat to tenderness,we also had asparagus, sliced mushrooms,sliced onions, lettuce ( to wrap bbq)rice ,miso soup. One disappointing point,I wish Mosu had more variety in the ban chan dishes and better quality of meat that inclusive. Kim Chee should be more fermented .Everything we ordered was extremely fresh and if your still hungry you can order 2nd as long its within two hour window. Mosu has a clever concept, especially for people that love korean bbq, Mosu does not disappoint for Albany area. Give Mosu a try whenever you crave korean bbq or Hotpot, make reservations.$$$$

Beautifully decorated and designed. The food, service and experience is exceptional. The meats are great and it seems they make good additions to the menu, for example the short ribs which are delicious. I also noticed the quality of the kimchi is better, which makes the bbq a lot more tastier for me. Staff is super nice and checks in to make sure the bbq grill is oiled up and isn’t too burnt. Dessert menu is also full of great items to end your meal. Highly recommended

Very nice modern decor. You order small plates of food off an iPad that they bring you to cook on the bbq in the center of the table. We had many cuts of beef, and shrimp and chicken all excellent. Full bar and flights of Japanese whiskey. We had a 2 hour limit with all you can eat. Very enjoyable.

Updated review June2023 based on most recent visits: This is the original hotpot restaurant in albany, so it doesn’t mean much to say that it’s the best… but it is pretty good even on the scale of other metropolitan areas. Everything we were served was fresh, except the fish balls which can taste very slightly off. The fresh veggies and sliced meats have nearly always been perfect. They also used to have issues with gritty shellfish but this seems to have been resolved during our most recent visit.

This restaurant has great Ambiance and feeling when you get there. You sit down and order what you want. Then they bring it out and you cook it. You can do the grill or hot pot. You’re paying for the food ahead of time based on the amount of food you’d like to order. Yo can order as much as you want in the time given. There is a FEE for wasting food though. The food was delicious and very fresh. The desert was great. We ordered different varieties of beef, chicken, fish, sides, veggies, and desserts. It was all delicious….the kimchi was the best. Would go again.

This was such a fun experience! We did the broth option, red curry and the spicy Thai chili. Both were excellent and the chili sauce actually spicy/hot. Interesting options to add, from veggies to beef. Environment was modern, but still felt intimate given the eating style.
