This place was great. There’s new owners, so we didn’t know what to expect. Upon arrival, I was shocked at the number of online orders that kept coming through, but was taken back that not many people dining in. We felt a little spoiled that there were so few of us.

Was disappointed when we arrived and saw a sign that it was under new management, but we still decided to give it a chance. Food was ok. We got chicken Tikka Masala and it was not how the last restaurant used to serve it. It was not a creamy consistency and was more a tomato red thick consistency. The Naan was ok too. A little bummed but maybe well give it a try again once it’s a little more established.

Something for everyone here. I am vegetarian and can always find a great meal here, so can the meat eaters in my party. The service is welcoming and friendly. So many flavors, it’s a party to your tastebuds. The place looks nice, you can dress casual or get dressed up for dinner if you like. Everyone fits at Swagat and they feed you really well.

I initially had relatively low expectations for this Indian restaurant when it was new, but it has become my go-to place for delicious and satisfying Indian food in Woodland. I’ve been here about 5 times now and it’s been excellent every time. The butter chicken is to die for. I’ve ordered thali style a couple of times which has a lot of variety and is really filling! The waiter is super friendly and is super happy to recommend something new to try. Clean, low-key atmosphere. Love it!
