The food is absolutely delicious. It’s primarily a take out place. They do have a counter top and a small table where you can sit, but at our recent visit, they had ran out of plastic utensils, so we couldn’t eat in. No worries, we just took our order back to our hotel where (fortunately) we had utensils.

The food was decent for what it was. I had BBQ sliders, Cole slaw and collards. I asked if the sliders were jack fruit and soy free which they said yes but they were a different texture than I expected so I am not sure I believe that they are jack fruit. Either way they were pretty good and served in a unique way. I’m not sure the rolls they are served on are actually vegan though because they were similar to kings Hawaiian rolls. The food did take a while to be made after we ordered but I really appreciated that it was fresh and hot! The inside of the restaurant wasn’t clean and was a little over whelming. This place definitely seems like a take out place, but they do have a table and a counter to sit at. Ultimately, I think the concept for this restaurant is pretty neat but I probably won’t go back since the location is far from my home, cleanliness is lacking and the price for what you get is high.

I was unsure about this place cause I walked in and they didn’t have a single thing they had listed on the website on their menu for the day. I didn’t exactly get what I wanted but that chickn sandwich was absolutely out of this world. The environment is different but it doesn’t matter cause I’ve been around the country and their chickn sandwich was to absolutely die for. I was heartbroken they didn’t have any Mac n cheese, but that’s okay. Loved this place!

So after I saw a person post on Facebook about their vegan oxtail, I had to try it for myself. Well, when I tell you, it was amazing. It was so tender and flavorful. It was a little on the spicy side but all in all it was a great meal. It was $9.76 for the oxtail, rice with peas and a piece of plantain. Don’t judge the food by the atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. I want to try their “chicken” sandwich next time. They also have sea moss drinks and smoothies.

Absolutely delicious food! Even if you’re not vegan, try this place, I guarantee you’ll love it! Vegan Soul Food, I wouldn’t have thought it possible, but they’ve done it. The potato salad and potato wedges were to die for! Unfortunately, missed thr mac n cheese, but will hopefully get it next time. Love the location. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely insanely good. If you don’t stop here, even if you’re not a vegan, you are seriously missing out. I got the absolute best vegan burger I’ve ever had hands down and the sides were mouth watering. I will be stopping in every single time I am in Lynchburg.

Delicious, fresh tasting vegan food. There are a couple of tables set up if you need a place to sit and eat, but this is really a takeout place. The menu is limited. We went at the end of the day and they were out of collard greens. They recommended cabbage as an alternative, and it was very tasty. They make their own chickpea based burgers and they tasted homemade, so good! The buns were also fresh. The Mac and cheese was probably the best vegan m&c I’ve ever eaten, better than the one I make. And try the sea moss smoothie, delicious.

Incredible spot with all vegan options. No lack in flavor at all, super soulful, tasted like grandma made it. Got the mushroom burger, smothered chicken, scalloped potatoes, Mac, and chicken drumettes and each one was incredible. Definitely worth the visit.

I ate here for the first time, had a traditional steak with cabbage, tater tots, and plantains and it was wonderful. I look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu. This is amazing food and the service is friendly and I can only recommend this restaurant – finally there is a vegan place in Lynchburg and I wish it best of success. Great quality food and service!
