I’ve had better at a high school cafeteria. I placed an order for two of the 12″ turkey provolone sandwich, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with what I received. The sandwich arrived without any toppings, seasonings, or condiments, leaving me with just plain bread, meat, and cheese that lacked any flavor.

I don’t know HOW this place has so many stars. The reviews are probably bots. Our sandwiches looked NOTHING like in the photos, and the quality of the meat was something worse than a college cafeteria. Never again.

Good local place. Can be slow during lunch rush to make your sub, but usually worth it. Tons of sub options, but limited otherwise to potato chips and bottled drinks.

Due to my wife and my debate on which sandwich shop in DC is the best, I’ll say this is one of the best sub shops in that city (My vote’s still with Mangialardo’s on the Hill). Regardless, Mother Rucker’s makes a mean sub. You can create it as you like but I recommend the straight up “motherload.” It’s huge and amazing!

Great sandwiches. Standard sandwiches are eight inches not six. Loaded with plenty of meat and vegetables. Perfect hole in the wall sandwich shop.

Always fresh. Quality subs every time I go. They always put a smile on my face with how pleasant they are.

Good sandwiches! They just move soooo slow and when you try to call ahead and preorder they do not answer. I do not like services like this especially when you are on a certain time frame.

Huge subs, flavorful. Definitely worth the money. Worth a try if you’re tired of the other guys and really hungry. The Marion Barry and a bag of Honey Sriracha chips is all you need.
