We went on Super Bowl Sunday and we lucked out with seating as everyone was home for the game, looks like it could get pretty cramped with limited seating as this is a small business. However!! The seafood was delicious, sourced from Maryland and freshly made. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly, and we really enjoyed the down-home feel inside. Really liked the Chesapeake Steamer, a good variety of delicious steamed seafood for a good price 🙂

Crabs were fantastic! We ordered a 1/2 Bushel but im pretty sure that there was more then that in the bag. Flavor was perfect, didnt eat inside but it was nice and the staff was friendly.

Great friendly service! Everyone that I was with had a great dinner. … They do not have anything vegetarian. ( even their cucumber and onion salad was mayo based) – I will say that our server did offer to have the kitchen chop up some cucumbers for me, but I passed on that. She did try!

When in Martinsburg, this place is always an anticipated stop. The food is authentic, atmosphere fun, and great service. We stopped in March after the long train ride to Martinsburg from Chicago, and the food tasted so good.

Ordered steamed crabs to go on my way home to upstate NY. Crabs were seasoned well and heavy! Mediums were on the larger side and sweet. Customer service was top notch from the phone call to pick up! Will definitely order from them again on my next trip. Thank you Mother Shuckers!!

My favorite local place to dine! Food is always fantastic and the homemade sangria too. Jackie and staff always make you feel at home. My out of town family always looks forward to eating here when they visit! The shack atmosphere is perfect! Can’t wait for the outdoor experience to open.
