I rarely give 5 stars, but MotherIndia Cuisine easily deserves it. Had a great experience starting from getting a table to checking out. Parking is as easy as it can get, just park in the huge lot across Westlake Ave.

Really an awesome place to have authentic Indian food. The ambience with Indian song playing in the background adds to the mood.We had Garlic Naan, Butter chicken, Samosa Chaat and Mango lassi. All came in really generous portion. We got the Mango lassi as one by two and it was more than sufficient for both of us. The Garlic Naan was really good and so was the Butter chicken. The size of the served Garlic Naan is quite huge in portion. For us , one was sufficient for each. Also, they serve rice with any curry that is ordered which is far more than sufficient for two people. They also offer takeaway for leftovers. I felt the samosa Chaat was okay and was bit costlier comparatively.

I went to this place with a colleague for an dinner on a Tuesday (July 18, 2023). It is at a V-shaped road junction and has a thin triangle shape.

I had noticed this place before on Westlake quite a few times. Finally got to try it today. We ordered tandoori style wings, paneer dum bhuna and garlic naan. For dessert we ordered rasmalai. It was okay taste wise, but that’s about it. The rasmalai wasn’t good. Would not recommend it.

Don’t judge a book by its cover:) motherindia is that book. This place is located at a very odd place and may not look appealing but that’s the beauty. Food is unbelievably delicious. I have been there on 2 occasions and have enjoyed both their food a lot. The best part is they have free refill on their masala chai. You can just go and relax and eat some comfort Indian food.

Portion size is generous, flavor was immaculate, service was great and managed the room and incoming orders very well, and mango lassi was the cherry on top to a stellar dining experience.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. Got a cup of the masala chai, paneer tikka masala, dum biryani with lamb and some garlic naan. Everything was delicious and spiced perfectly. I’ve been searching for quality Indian food since I moved to the Seattle area a few months ago and this place has taken the cake and will be the place I take all my visitors to and will be a weekly staple for myself as well. Run, don’t walk! You won’t regret it.

This is the place for authentic and the most fantastic Indian food. My wife and I live in South Lake Union and we walk over to this amazing family owned place as often as we can. It’s not the prettiest place to eat, but it is by far the best. To be sure, I brought a colleague and wonderful friend of Indian descent to see what his impression would be. Two words – “absolutely fantastic.” This is a rare find. Enjoy!!!
