Very cool evening spot to get dinner. The bar has some very interesting specialty drinks and Paul (our server) was super engaging. we really enjoyed his suggestions of the things we shouldn’t miss. Everything was really good. We had the porkbelly which was one of the prime recommendations. The tiramisu was a hit after dinner too.

Gorgeous venue for an evening dinner in downtown Phoenix. I got the Eggplant Kabayaki, Spicy Shoyu Ramen, Assorted Nigiri Platter, and Honey Toast. The eggplant dish was the perfect balance of smokey, savory, and sweet. It paired perfectly with the rice it was served with. As for the ramen: it was a bit underwhelming. While the quality of the pork chashu was pretty good, the cuts were small and the broth lacked a depth of flavor. However, as far as Arizona ramen joints go, this is definitely in the upper 10% of AZ ramen. The assorted nigiri on the other hand, was delicious. Each piece tasted fresh & unique and was complimented by an individual garnish, so every bite was a new experience. Lastly, the honey toast was a bit too bread-y. I think it needed more honey and/or ice cream to offset the dryness. But the flavors themselves were good. Overall, the menu had some hard hitters and some slightly above average food. I definitely recommend the eggplant and nigiri for future diners.

Randomly stumbled upon this place looking for a last minute dinner on a Friday night while visiting in town. Instantly was greeted by the staff upon coming in and treated with the best customer service throughout our dining experience. The food was amazing and the drinks were really good. Marie was super nice and we would recommend this to anyone looking for a good meal!

Went here about a month ago. The roll was delicious, I think there was a carrot in there? So good. I heard the kitchen talking about a dish with “bakas?” Not familiar with it, I’ll have to try that too sometime. Either way, I had a great time and the service and staff were wonderful. Definitely going back soon.

Came here on a Friday nightI was disappointed they were out of ramen but the izakaya more than made up flesh it! We got gyoza, pork buns, chicken teriyaki, and two hand rolls. All delicious. Our waitress was new and did a great job checking on us and interacting with us. Hoping next time I go they will have the ramen. The inside is nicely decorated!

Mid afternoon slightly packed but smiles all around and a gorgeous ceiling view of umbrellas. My server Paul was very kind to my Gf and me and gave us a little bit of a wait but made up for it with his personality the food is very good the ramen isnt a 10 but a very good 7 in my book the apps are where it’s at here and the sushi is delicious.

Paul the waiter was excellent. The sushi was delicious. The tuna lover was so good we ordered two. The Bao buns were really really good. The drinks were overpriced for what they were. The tiramisu was green which was interesting and the honey toast tasted delicious.

The restaurant has a beautiful ambient, those Japanese umbrellas on the roof are iconic. The food is amazing, I enjoy poke rolls personally, they have a great selection of drinks. The service is good. Will come back often.
