A true hidden gem in the heart of Medford. They do have a parking lot on the side of the building, and there is street parking available nearby. The restaurant opens most weekend nights, especially when they’ve been able to lay their hands on fresh seafood.

Moulton’s is hands down the best seafood in Medford. Nobody else in Medford even stands close. I went here strictly to try the lobster roll and was not disappointed. Very delicious and done to near perfection. The lobster roll was very paired down and I appreciate a lobster roll that is just a lobster roll instead of trying to be fancy and going all over the place with it. Moulton’s lobster roll was simple and delicateable. Beers were pretty reasonably priced too. Service was to notch all night. Would recommend to any seafood loved in Medford.

Great food, fresh seafood and cooked well. Service is great. Calamari had light batter very nice. Meals are reasonably priced. Gave it a 5 star because there’s no 4-1/2 star. An update to there look would be nice but Great eats.

This little gem is a family owned and operated restaurant that has excellent fresh seafood, self-picked right from the pier. I have been here a few times and always worth the drive. Our waiter tonight, David was very kind and the place was clean, warm and friendly. The only reason I did not give it five stars was because the clams in garlic wine really should come with bread for dipping that delicious juice, and any dinner meal should come with a starch (rice, baked potato or fries) and a vegetable, but you can only get one or the other. This would not stop me from coming back though. I will definitely return soon.

This place was chosen by the cousin who lives in the city and therefore knows a lot more than a hick like yours truly. She had described this place as like legal seafood, but less pricey. Turns out that she was totally correct. The food was excellent. The chowder was delicious, the mussels arrived in this mouth watering sauce which was the perfect dip for the garlic bread we had ordered. Dinner was a great experience and also reasonably priced. The service was warm and attentive. They also had parking in the back. What more do you need?

The fish is very fresh. Everything else is bland and there is no doubt things such as the veg come from a can. I wish I could give this a better rating its just not good. No frills, very generic, and the owner drinks way too much for my liking. He should stay in the kitchen and keep his comments to himself. I cringe every time I see him go behind the bar and help himself to ANOTHER BEER. Hey heres an idea, maybe check with your guests while your grabbing your beer and see maybe if they need one.

Great seafood for a small family restaurant. Prices are very reasonable, and the dishes were fresh and delicious. Portions are smaller than I expected so if you have a big appetite, you may want to order a side or an appetizer. Decor is simple and restaurant is small overall. Parking lot in the back which is definitely a plus.

OK, I left Medford 45 years ago & didn’t know of this place before; family was in town for a funeral and my brother said he knew of a place – we had 9 people & everyone was pleased (or more!) with their meal! I remember saying out loud, “Best clam chowder ever!”. A very modest, unassuming place, but great local support – it’s obviously all about the food here!

Great place to go to avoid the traffic on I-93. We were stuck in traffic and hungry so we did a search and found this place. Quite the gem. The fish and chips are spectacular! The fish is flakey and moist and the fries are light and fluffy. By the time we left our stomachs were full and traffic had cleared. Highly recommended.
