First off HELLA YELLA REAPER SAUCE…I had a roast pork burrito and my wife had a chicken burrito….these are the best burritos in Western Carolina. Chipotle can eat a big one. You can’t get better meats and fillings of a burrito. The meats are juicy and the pickled veggies are nice and tangy. The star of my night tho…the hella Yella reaper sauce it’s a mustard based hot sauce and it’s so good I would buy this sauce by the bottle! I would put it on all my chicken and pulled pork sandwiches. You could use the hella yella sauce on smoked chicken wings and I guarantee you would win contests it’s that good.

I am disappointed with this place. I ordered a LARGE bowl. When I got my food I was shocked to see it half empty… when I asked the cashier why is it empty, the response was “you can add chips to fill it up”

The best burritos and bowls in NC. We regularly drive over an hour just to come grab lunch here. Creative ingredients and salsa and a super friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

I’ve always loved and enjoyed their their location in Morganton and look forward to visiting them way more often now that they’re closer. Everything is very good, if it’s the type of thing you like. So if you’re thinking about going… Give it a try! One of my favorite things is how quickly I get my food. It’s all very healthy without tasting “healthy”.

Came in yesterday around 3:00 for a late lunch early dinner. Food was phenomenal and fresh. Chicken was seasoned beyond perfect! Staff was very friendly right upon arrival. My fiancé is a chipotle freak, and he said he would choose this over it Sunday! Super convenient to our house. Glad to see mountain burrito expand.

Valdese location is sorry. Don’t waste your money… over charged for every single thing. Never have I paid that much for a nacho plate in morganton. It’s sad… and the potato’s were definitely from the day before. They were burnt and almost everything was flavorless

The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of their chips, which are served with their salsa. They are very hard and more like pita chips – if you like that sort of thing. Other than that, the service was great and the food was awesome!!

The service was warm and friendly, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. The food was overpriced and underwhelming. Their “grilled chicken” was canned chicken in a bland orange sauce, just gross.
