On a recommendation from a friend, who now that I think about it, doesn’t always give good recommendations, I visited a new Mountain Mike’s Pizza on Keystone and 5th. Middle of the road can be a good place when value is factored in. Unfortunately the pizza I ordered was not up to my standard. It was delivered to my table already cooled. The thick crust was unremarkable. The toppings while generous were at best pedestrian (I ordered the meat lovers pizza to sample a broad cross section of the available meats). On the positive side of the ledger. The staff were attentive and plentiful. The restaurant, clean and comfortable. Bonus! A salad bar, unfortunately my server didn’t inform me if just my purchase gained me access.

I frequent here with my wife and son on a weekly basis for their delicious lunch buffet! Fresh pizza, Fresh salad and refreshing drinks! For two people during the lunch special 11am-2pm, was $29+. Pizza was good, salad bar, too, and a drink. BUT, the two people up front, did not have any customer service; no smile, no welcome attitude to customers coming in.
