Two meats, one side plus soda ~ $30. I think they were having equipment problems because my and others food were cold. The brisket and pulled pork was good otherwise, with my only complaint that they don’t trim the fat off the bottom of the brisket. The sauces were really good, better than mission BBQ. Don’t know if I’ll give them another try due to the price being high for what you get.

I ordered a beef brisket sandwich and home fries with cheese. It took 24 minutes for me to receive my food from when I placed my order. It’s very patriotic in there, which I enjoyed; However the good ends there. Two gentlemen walked in 10 minutes after me and got their food before me. Hardly an issue, but it is to be brought up. The beef brisket was okay at best- hardly any flavor. It had some smoke flavor but it was not seasoned well at all. The highlight of this review is the home fries. Awful. Hardly cooked- mostly pale and very firm uncooked pieces. I had to season them and throw them in air fryer just to get them edible. Zero salt or seasoning on the home fries. The disappointment lies in the contrast between their American platform and the lack of quality and flavor in their food. American should mean quality, and this place did not have it today.

This is my first time as I’ve heard numerous things about this place. The food is not bad at all. I decided to order the brisket cheesesteak. As for their sauce selection it mostly tasted the same just in different spice level. It took a long time to get our order that was the only downside. Other than that no complaints.

Top notch Texas BBQ, with healthy potions. They are not shy with the protiens. Very interactive and attentive owners. Bar for a beer or cocktail if you so choose. We also bought some sauces and hot pickles. This place is definitely worth the stop.

I just moved to the area and I’m trying all the local food places trying to find some good food. I ordered here thinking YUM BBQ but my husband and I were very dissapointed. We got the brisket, pulled pork, potatoe salad, mac n cheese and mexican corn. It cost $65!! When I picked up my order (we did takeout) I was surprised how small the bag was but it was all tied up and it was a little greasy so I didnt open it and headed on home. The containers were SOOOOO small! The brisket did have a good taste but was not worth the $20 something. The pulled pork was just bland. Oh my gosh the mac n cheese had so much oil, grease or butter, I’m not sure what it was. I was actually pouring it off!!!!! The mexican corn was also in a small container and again oily! And last the potatoe salad…it was just potatoes with mayo and pickle I think. Very bland! Its all still sitting in my fridge. We just couldnt eat it. Literally wasted $65. Was very dissappointed! And I’m hard to dissapoint, I LOVE food but NOT this place

The Good…. All meats were very well smoked however, the BBQ sauce sides were out of the bottle. Sides…. not what we expected but might be the norm for this area? The Bad…. 5:30 pm and Nobody else in the place? Looked like a great place inside. No greeting from woman at counter and was equally as Unfriendly? I made mention of the display of pickles in the coolers directly behind the counter and… No Reply!!! The freaking pickles are mentioned as a Big deal on the menu and I was in trouble for not having ordered. No offer was made to Try or Buy…. What, Suggestive selling? I left and did Not buy.

this place is a ripoff, i ordered their Texas trio platter for $40.37 and was surprised about how little of food they are serving and the presentation was awful, I could have served my dog better than that. Order this at your own risk. I’m not sure of everything else but I will never patronize this establishment ever again

Usually, I’m not a big fan of BBQ, however this place changed my mind! I got the brisket with loaded French fries as an appetizer, pulled pork sandwich, and burger with mushrooms. Definitely one of my top restaurants in WV. Everything is made fresh daily. Staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful!! Great sauces on the side. I recommend this place!

I used to love this place and visited often. Great food and music. However, I visited them at the Jefferson County WV 2023 Fair. I’m sorry but this must be said but at the Fair, they utilized a wood cutting board, mixed all three meats on it which is cross contamination and didn’t see them clean it while prepping, it was 90 degree heat, appalling! Surprised health department didn’t shut them down. I’m concerned of their prep practices. They blocked me on FB.
