We had to wait for someone to clean some Booths, and they seated three parties of two all at the same time. Our waitress was MIA most the time, we had to wait for long periods of time, food was very bland, no refills and had to wait to ask for her to bring out or bill.

I know this place is highly rated by the local people, but that was not my experience. My wife ordered her Sirloin Marsala medium, but it was well done, tough and tasteless. The description didn’t say it was slathered in gravy, but said “marsala wine sauce”. This was just basic canned gravy. My meal was Italian Carbonara. It has shrimp in it, so it should be hard to mess up, but it was bland. It looked good, but not very flavorful. I find the bar area to be disheveled, underutilized, and disappointing. We had the cheese manicotti on our last trip and it was quite delicious. The bar area also has damaged tables, chairs, and other items. The cleanliness has definitely improved in the last year to be sure. The staff is friendlier. What makes me the most uneasy about this place is I’ve never seen or noticed a manager nor ever seen one interact with guests.

So many positives to say about this place. From the time we were sat, our waitress made us feel like we were her only table when in fact she was plenty busy. She did a wonderful job with suggestions, making sure our drinks were full, and she constantly followed up to check on us.
