We decided to try this establishment mainly on its name and we made a great choice! The place was jumping when we got there but we were seated in a couple minutes. Staff was friendly and attentive, considering how busy they were. The food came out rather quickly and was nice and hot. The crab meat benedict was delicious according to my wife. Scrapple has to be prepared properly for me to enjoy it and this was done to perfection! The German pancakes were a nice, sweet treat to end the meal.

We were there on Saturday and Monday of BIG Nascar weekend!! Great food, great waitresses, great value! On a comparison of the 2 days – Monday was down by several staff, and food suffered slightly with details BUT still excellent At this little place, you have to be prepared to wait some in line and a little at table but if you’re not uptight and in a hurry, it’s well, well worth it!! We’ll be visiting on our next trip back for Nascar weekend!!! Food was ALL eaten, pics are mid meal, as we looked at our plates when they arrived at table and dug in forgetting pics at that time!

After driving a couple hours from New Jersey by 10am I was ready for a good breakfast. In the Mt Pocono area the choices are somewhat limited if you don’t want fast food. A quick Google map search and Moyer’s popped up and I am happy it did. It’s a smallish cafe in a strip center and if crowds are an indicator this is it. One thing about being solo is while a party of 5 may have a short wait a single usually gets seated kind of quickly and I did. The menu has all the usual breakfast items like eggs, omelets, french toast etc. The one thing on the menu you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere is German style pancakes. I ordered an omelet with home fried potatoes. The server said that I should try the German pancakes so I did. The omelet and potatoes were cooked perfectly. The pancakes were a delight. The flavor is somewhat akin to a funnel cake. Kind of sweet with a fluffy texture. I ordered mine served with powdered sugar and were delicious like everything else I ordered. There are also various fruit toppings available. The service was super friendly and efficient. I never felt rushed or like I was waiting too long. The dollar value for my meal was exactly as I thought it should be. Not cheap but a good deal for high quality food. If you are in the area and hungry this is a great spot for meal. Check out the food picture and you’ll get why I enjoyed Moyer’s.

We really want to enjoy breakfast out on the weekends. Does the cook think these home fries are edible? Does the waitress? It was as if someone scraped the grill and plated it.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate here (big ups to the German pankaces) and the folks we spoke to. We almost didn’t stop in, as the Google Maps overview describes the place as a chain. I verified that it is not a part of a chain. I encouraged the server to encourage the owner to change that. Some folks, like myself, try to avoid chain restaurants when traveling. But super-awesome ‘one of its kind’ place!

We came in on a Saturday around 11:30. The place was busy but we had no wait time. The food was delicious, I definitely recommend the House Special Omelette which is a buffalo chicken and blue cheese omelette. My friends were all happy with their choices too. Our server was attentive despite the place being busy. Will come back next time we’re in the area!

Great mom & pop breakfast/lunch spot. The food was great. We had cheesesteak omelets with home fries. The iced tea was fresh brewed and delicious! We also heard great things about their Reubens, so we got two to go for dinner. We warmed them over the campfire.

A very delicious Breakfast joint! Their German pancakes are to die for! Very fairly priced and a super friendly staff that truly try their best to take care of you. If you end up going after 9am on a weekend be prepared to wait but honestly it’s definitely worth it!

The food was ok. The atmosphere was ok as well. The floors were dirty, liked they hadn’t been mopped in a while. Overall experience was ok. I’d give this place a 2.5 out of 5. I wasn’t expecting too much going into the restaurant, and I can say I wasn’t surprised, so there you have it.
