I moved to Syracuse from Buffalo about a little over a year ago. In doing so I’ve needed to find different everyday food spots to eat at. I like to support small businesses, and not go to the everyday chain restaurants; McDonalds, Burger King, Dennys, Fridays etc. This is one of the first spots I’ve ate at when I got here and I really enjoyed the quality food, the jerk chicken meal to be exact with my sides as mac and cheese and cabbage. I’ve gotten this meal from here numerous times in the last year or so. I got this same meal yesterday and I was really upset when I got home. For starters the Mac and cheese appeared that it had a slice of cheese melted on the top with no cheese in the middle, and it was dry. The chicken was good however I only received 3 chicken wings to which I paid $14 for. The cabbage was good , but the sides were no where near as large as they usually are. Please fix this I want to continue coming here, but I will take my money else where if the quality of the food is not up to the standards they were previously.

We were served by the owner; he was super friendly and helpful! He made menu suggestions and provided extra sauce in case the meat was too spicy. Incredibly fast service, fair price, and great flavor. I would highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t! 🙂

This food was literally disappointing. How is this even considered carribean?. I ordered the chicken curry and it didn’t even taste like curry nor had enough sauce in it. Not worth it ! Waste of money

Owner is very nice and I love the food. My only request is that he use less salt bc the Collard greens, Cabbage and Macaroni n Cheese is always “Super” salty! I couldn’t finish my meal the last time I ordered from there due to the salt. Mr. Bigg’s can you please use less salt as I would like to purchase your food again. Thank you!
