Everything about this restaurant was amazing. Purchased dinner for my parents and they truly enjoyed everything. Catfish greens and the carrot souffle were very good!! If you are a bread pudding person it is a must try!! The black eye peas and stewed tomatoes were exceptional so good Ii went back the next day to get more!!!The restaurant is take out only!

If I could give this place negative stars I would by far the nastiest food I have ever tasted in my life my baked chicken had no color over cooked flavorless the gravy us from a jar the mac and cheese is watery and taste like it’s store brought frozen mac and cheese the cabbage is boiled no seasoning the seafood platter came with butterfly shrimp not real jumbo shrimp the crab cake is mostly breader the potatoe salad taste like mashed potatoes with relish in them omg I will never visit again and I don’t recommend anyone eat here I really don’t see how they are still in business they need to be shut down this is far from soulfood I wish so digusted with the food I didn’t even bother taking it back and it was pretty pricey to go in the trash

Ordered through Uber since in town for a couple days. I don’t know why mixed reviews. The food was delicious. Ordered four wings and sides. Huge wings! That carrot soufflé was amazing. Cornbread was still Luke warm. I was in heaven.
