It’s overpriced, but the food is pretty decent and the service was great. The only down side is that the space is pretty small and they fill it up with as many tables as they can, felt like a sardine in a can.

Outrageously expensive. Great old school service amazing. Pretty cool atmosphere. But… the food is awful. Like pictures in the widow type restaurant awful. Had four people so we got four appetizers and four entrees so I tried a pretty sizable portion of their menu. The food ranged from average at best to awful. And then the bill…. We could have flown first class to Hong Kong for that price. I don’t mind a pricey meal, but there are tons of delicious Chinese food restaurants in NYC that don’t cost as much as a mink coat.

Was an outstanding experience! Prepare to spend over $100.00 per person minimum. The Mr. Chow noodles and the vegetable pot stickers were very flavorful. I ordered the chicken which came with mixed veggies and rice. Drinks are pricey. Much more costly to purchase bottles. Wait staff were exceptional.

Food is less than mediocre. Small portions. Crispy beef, no beef, all fried… side orders are charged double for single portion. Have Been to better restaurants. Overrated.. There are plenty of amazing restaurants in the city. This is just not one of them. Disappointing.

0 star. Horrible management, ignorant. Food came out cold. They made a duck in less than 15 mins. Tried telling us everything was made fresh. Liars.

It’s overpriced, absolutely. And DO NOT order this INK SQUID RICE NOODLE!! It’s super salty and it’s black like very black. If you come here with your bf or gf, just don’t order it. A huge mess everywhere, and even the lips!! You have to use makeup remover to get rid of those black tint marks..

Very good food and service. We have been to two other Mr. Chow restaurants, and this one is as good as the others.

Nice food, lovely outdoor dining space, kind staff. I gather it is a New York classic but I’ve been to more up-to-date places with a better value for money

Comming from someone who has dined in some of the finest restaraunts east to west , and even across Europe to Asia. I can honestly say the atmosphere inside Mr chows is unmatched. This is not for everyone , but anybody who is anybody appreciates the service and quality of the food and ambience created. The general manager Miguel treated me and my party of 3 like royalty and even helped guide us through the menu options and aswellnas mention some personal favorites of his. all allergie precautions relating to food were met which made our experience that more comfortable . The professionalism and style In which miguel is able to convey through direct questions and simple answers makes you realize just how special he is. this place can’t be compared to no any other restaraunt around. Not to mention I had the pleasure of meeting Gerard butler (300 , den of thieves) and him complimenting my taste in cigars . Overall do not come expecting to be cheap or on a budget. You ony live once , and life is too short to complain rather than enjoy the energy around you . The history , the staff and the fact everyone is constantly working to ensure an amazing experience make this is a must for all who all who enjoy the finer things in life.

So I was treated for my birthday and what a birthday it has been. I wasn’t sure of my expectations upon entering and the stories of the 80’s-90’s of celebrity attendance. Upon immediate entry you are greeted with the class of it all. My girlfriend’s are truly the best and my foodies in the frontline the start off of Lychee Bellini’s #toDieFor followed by the best lobster shumai, scallion pancakes and ribs (which I didn’t touch I don’t do the pork). Filet Mignon so buttery and tender you were actually able to cut it with a butter knife. Accompanied with filet if sole that was equally buttery soft and flavored to perfection……..the game changer here was the hour long cooked Peking Duck words can’t express other than #YUM. Mind you I can only state I was full by the lobster shumai but had to devour that which is Peking duck accompanied with veggies fried rice that was uber light and the only flavorful baby bok choy. #Dream dessert was Heaven.
