I’m always skeptical trying new sushi spots and I especially was stepping into Mr. Crab since it is a seafood boil spot… but it did not dissapoint!! Might be one of my fav sushi spots around now. Great prices as well. Spring rolls had the perfect crunch, loved the calamari paired with the Thai sauce, and the fries were perfect as well. For sushi I got 5 rolls and my favorite might’ve been the princess roll.

This place is a blast, the portions were huge and the preparation and taste was amazing. They fused all the best of Asian and Cajun seafood, but still have a respectable Sushi bar if you don’t need a huge feast. Best family dinner in Groton area maybe!

Mr. Crab is a delightful and delicious change of pace for dinner! I didn’t realize how badly we needed this option! Haha! My friends and family that have come here all LOVE it. As do I! I had the snow crab and 1lb of shrimp meal and it was perfection on a platter! Mr. Crab style seasoning, medium heat was right on the money. So, so flavorful. If you love seafood I highly recommend giving Mr. Crab’s a try!

We visited Mr.Crab a few days ago for a small pre-birthday celebration. My husband got the chicken po’boy and the fried gyoza and I got a boil combo with crawfish, snow crab and an additional 1.2lbs of blue crab with the Mr. Crab sepcial seasoning choice and milk spicy level.

Came here for my birthday lunch with the family. We came right at opening so it was a little cold coming in. Service was quick, attentive, and friendly. Food was cooked perfectly. Garlic butter with the dungeness crab, corn and potato was delicious. Fries were zesty and salty with the catfish basket.

This place lives up to the name, great cajan spices on any of your favorite seafood dishes. We got the boiled dinner and it was at our table in less than 15 min from when we ordered. The seafood tasted fresh and the service was fast, not sure what more you could ask for.

I am not in that area of Groton much and happen to be in the area for a late lunch with my boyfriend. We took a chance on this restaurant and was very shocked by how pleasant it was. The variety of the menu had me dying. I have never seen such good seafood and sushi variety. I ordered sushi and was very happy. The boyfriend got a chicken hibachi dish and the amount of food on his dish was perfect. We will definitely be going back, even if it’s a little bit of a drive. It is worth it. Service was great also. Never had to ask for more water 🙂

Me and my family were impressed with the food quality, one thing for sure “Don’t judge the book for the cover” this apply very well. From the outside the restaurant make you think twice going in, but the service and the food is amazing, excellent choice and the prices are very good. Great portions and very filling. Good job
