Friendly service, about 20 minute wait time. Food was absolutely amazing, great value too. Best chicken me and my boyfriend have ever and we’ve been to some big city chicken joints. Definitely the best fried chicken place in Springfield. Chicken was so well seasoned, tender and moist all the way down to the bone. Will be going back again and spreading the word.

The service is top-notch. The meals are delicious . You get to explore options like Italian beef with American cheese, Philly cheese steaks or chicken, Gyros with Pita bread, Various fish dinners including Cat Fillae, Walleye, Tilapia and Nuggets, shrimp, nachos, tacos, polish, hotdogs, varieties of Burgers, steaks like T-bone and Ribaye which comes with Texas toast and potatoes bowls, salads and the regular chicken wings (both sectioned and whole wings) and fries with sauces of your choice (BBQ, Mild, Hot, Honey hot, Ranch, Gyro sauce, A1 source and sour creams). You also get free Sodas for most meals. Doordash service is also available. I have explored their menu and it seems to me to be the best and cheapest in Springfield.

Everyone calls it “The Chicken Shack.” Get the lemon pepper wings with extra lemon pepper and you will fall in love. I have ordered over 10 times, and the quality has remained consistent. They are always very polite and friendly. The best fried chicken In town, easily.

Temperatures were hot & food was fresh. Gyro was delicious. Fries had a flavor powder on them and was yummy. Staff wasn’t very friendly, but they also weren’t rude. They were just average. Only 4 stars because the location is awful, I will not be returning while it’s still dark. Very unsuitable for if you’re alone.

Closed three to four hours daily. If you happened too need fresh, hot, made to order for during one of these hours, I fell so sorry for you. My go-to is a Gyro with everything, no fries. But they make awesome fries, which stay hot for a long time and delicious chicken as well. Haven’t tried them whole menu because the Gyro is what keeps me coming back, aside from the service, location, and price.

Mr gyro used to be so good but now it’s like you’re getting half cooked food and then when you ask them for something that was supposed to been put on your food or add it to your food they want to give you the price for it it’s like no I already paid for that that’s what I ordered and I drive from out of town to come to Mr gyro because I wanted some chicken and I knew that it would be open but I think from now on I will just pass and figure out something else instead of driving from one town to another town to another town to get some chicken gas prices going up it would have been worth it but being the fact that my fries were not all the way done and there was one one or two pieces of chicken I had to throw away because it wasn’t all the way done. You got to get it together Mr gyro because you used to be the best but now you seeming to be like all the rest.
