We ordered lamb kebab and lamb shawarma, but to be honest, they tasted similar. Overall the food is good and portion is big. Even though not fancy stuff, they are good.

Fries were a little cold and soggy, and we were disappointed that the hummus doesn’t come with anything to eat it with.

Fast and friendly service, portions were a good size. The garlic sauce was potent! Just the way I like it.

The food was delicious, good portions. Filled me up. Prices were good. Self serve. Free tea. Seating and atmosphere is OK. But the food is damn delicious. Hot inside on a hot day.

My most regrettable dinner experience of the year. I have no idea why they chose to start putting noodles (chow mein?) in the rice for their shawarma plates but my meal was ruined and my disappointment was immeasurable. Mr. Gyros used to be gluten-friendly but now sadly is entirely unapproachable for anyone GF. Good luck to you all.

A good amount of food for a good price. The Caesar wrap was pretty good, but I couldn’t hear what was on it when I asked as the music was pretty loud there. It had cucumbers (I’m not a fan of cucumbers), and I would have asked for that to be taken off if I did hear them. Otherwise it was good!

We love Mr. Gyro! It is always so good, and the staff is extremely friendly. If you don’t know what to get they will help you decide and tell you the popular items. We got two gyro plates and we are not disappointed. A tried and true favorite

The first thing that comes to mind is “Hole in the wall”. This isn’t a restaurant that I would typically eat at, but when hunger triumphs and this is the closest option, you give it a shot. I’m glad I did because the food here is actually pretty good and relatively affordable! The staff are really friendly, albeit Latinos, so not necessarily what you’d expect for an Arab-inspired restaurant. The portions are filling and the flavors are good. I’ve went a few times and always order the shawarma, which I recommend. Good restaurant overall, don’t let the exterior or interior scare you!

I ordered a Gyro sandwich and shawarma plate. Almost $40 after a small tip. Highly disappointing. The plate had rice that tasted like cinnamon really bad. Totally clashed with the rest of the flavors of the veggies and meat. I felt like I was eating cinnamon rice pudding, the only way I can describe it. It was also cold and hard.

Mr. Gyros is a local small chain of Mediterranean restaurants in the Seattle area. This location is ballard is usually very busy, and for good reasons. Their food is delicious, priced accurately with big portions (lots of meat with less rice), and a good sized menu. The staff here are nice and helpful. They have a lot of takeout orders here, so order with some time to spare giving them 10-15 minutes to prepare your food. Highly recommended if you’re looking for gyro style food.
