This Mr. Hero caused severe food poisoning for myself and a family member. Ordered Philly cheesesteaks and the symptoms came in three hours after consumption and resulted in a high fever the next day. The cheesesteaks didn’t taste bad, nor did they smell strange.

I ordered a cheesesteak via Uber Eats, with cheese, mushrooms, and onions. I received a plain sandwich: just a bun and meat. I was illegally parked so I didn’t have time to check the order before leaving. Uber Eats refunded me.

Wasn’t expecting great quality items ordering through Uber eats but the kids meal burger was beyond unacceptable. Also missing items and not hot. Boyfriend ordered another time and it was hot and overall tasty so there are clearly inconsistencies present.

I’m not from the area, but I found Mr. Hero on Google Maps near my hotel. I ordered the Zesty Chicken & Bacon sandwich with tater tots. It was a pretty good sandwich, nice flavor, not too zesty unless my taste buds were off again. The tater tots were a little greasy. Service was very good for a Saturday evening.

I am pretty sure I contacted the Coronavirus from here and Downtown Convenience. The lady making the sandwich had a her mask down for a minute and was touching her face. 1 of the cashiers at Downtown Convenience was not wearing a mask and they even served a customer not wearing a mask. The receipt didn’t have a breakdown for the price of each item. I tried to show it to her with me just holding it but she requested to hold it with her own hands to see it.
