After many tries, I cannot keep continuing to get food here anymore. The food has very minimal taste on most foods, and the orange chicken had many tiny orange slices, some overcooked, that gave a bitter, inedible taste. I’m disappointed as this is the only Chinese restaurant in the area.

Food is really good and the staff is very friendly. And the food is prepared quickly. I just wish they had dine in and a more comfortable atmosphere.

Trash vastly overpriced. The food is mediocre they NEVER give enough meat. The chicken wings are cut in half so you only get 2 when it should be 4 wings. There’s barely any meat in any of the dishes. Shrimp fried rice has baby shrimp pork fried rice the already small pieces are recut and you basically just have all rice. This place is a joke. Only got it cuz it was the only place open. Never again!

I’m saddened the rating has collectively gone down with the amount of new people to the community. This is a local small business that does their best to keep up with the demand of a rapidly growing community. They consistently get quality and order accuracy down, and never are more than 15 minutes of a wait time. I enjoy supporting small and local, and Mr. Lu’s is it in the heart of Moyock.

Was at least a 4.5 now a 3. I moved here a year ago and their food was pretty good ordered a lot to time. Now in I ordered last night my usually Chicken Chow mein combo with scraped chicken off the bone as in almost no chicken. I know things cost more to make at this time, but stop cutting the product just keep the same amount. What they need to do just charge more for the meal and put the product in the meal???? The meal I got last night was 95% rice and vegetables that I can make at home for about $1.00 and they are asking over $10. Think I will pass on them for now and sure more people will to in the future. Oh and the egg foo young I got hardly no meat in that either @ over $11. dah

I’ve been eating here for years. I can remember first eating here about 12 years ago. It’s my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant. I’ve traveled abroad and everywhere I go I always compare it to Mr. Lu’s and I always side with the local Moyock restaurant. They are very polite.

Food is good and moderately priced. Their General Tso is great and actually has a nice bite to it.

If only they would leave pork out when I ask for no pork in my fried rice. Everytime I ask, they disregard and add pork in anyways. I don’t go often due to this. I have even said no meat thinking that would help, but then I received white rice. However, the food quantity and quality is good.
