Okay I have reviewed a lot of chile rellenos and a lot of tamales and I will have to say that you take number one of the nation and I learned that with one bite of each excellent food you can taste the season and then it is not overly season but you can still taste the salt you can taste the freshness of everything truly wonderful great place to celebrate my birthday

We went for dinner at 5pm on a Saturday night, first time visit. By the time we left, there were probably 30 people waiting for a table, so get there early! The salsa was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, we got the bottom of the bag of chips in both of our baskets and our cheese dip was cold, both minor issues in my opinion. We ordered the burrito shrimp fajita and shrimp chimichanga and they were both a perfect 10. The shrimp were perfect and there were plenty of them! All ingredients were fresh and delicious. The margaritas were also a perfect 10. Prices were fair. The atmosphere and staff were great, and we will be back!

We went to dinner last night as a family of six. Food was good, service not so much! My boyfriend ordered the birria tacos which were delicious however…. There was a small rubber band in his birria soup which he had dunked and eaten all of his tacos in. We did not ask for a refund, just simply told our server and showed him the rubber-band. His response “no not in there”, we tried to reach out to the blonde American waitress as ours didn’t speak much English and told her what had happened and she laughed at us and walked away while our server continued to publicly ridicule us and call us liars! We frequent this establishment often and I’ve never experienced an item in my food before so this was a first but the treatment we received after just informing the staff was unacceptable! Not to mention my four children were watching and being a part of this ridicule as well. Definitely need work in the customer service area!

Today was our 1st day going to Mr. Poncho’s. Very impressed by the decor. Really put you in the mood to eat Mexican food! The Texas tacos and cheesesteak burrito were absolutely fabulous! Loved the salsa! Everything tasted very fresh, our service was great and we will definitely be going back to try more things on the menu.

Started out with some tasty salsa and good chips. My wife really like the salsa. Ordered my regular chicken fajita taco salad. It was very good. The only improvement needed was the taco shell bowl tasted stale, like it had dbeen sitting for a while.

We’ve always liked this place but today was awesome our waiter/sever was on it tonight we didn’t have to ask for anything he already knew what we needed before we did lol even had us a to go box for our kids food before we even got to ask. His response time to checking on us was awesome. Thank you.
