I’ve been going here regularly (2-3 times a month) for years and lately there’s been a steep decline in the food and service. Online orders are made incorrectly, ingredients for hot sandwiches are cold, bread never seems fresh, and the prices are higher every time. I can barely justify paying $14 for a great sandwich, much less for an improperly made sandwich that leaves a lot to be desired. I may have reached the point where I don’t go back to this location, I don’t know if it’s new management or not, but something has changed.

Food is always good and very consistent. And what’s not to like about getting a chocolate chip cookie with your meal. Staff is quick and friendly. Staffing is good so the wait isn’t usually long.

The manager was very rude and impatient with everyone . Service was very slow even though it wasn’t busy. Quality and quantity of ingredients were not as good as it used to be, and prices are higher. 12;30 on Jume 27 2023. We may not be back.

ugh! c’mon Auburn CA team – you can do better! on 3/9 around 12:30, ordered BLT on toasted sourdough to be delivered via Doordash. All the sandwich fixings were in a heap in center of the untoasted bread – incl the mayo. Entire perimeter was bread only, tomatoes stacked on top of each other vs. spread across the bread. Weird chemical smell from the lettuce. yuck For $15 we really do expect better. Called for a new sandwich and got hung up on – cool. just lost my biz…

I need to go here more often! Nicholas knows how to make a delicious salad and sandwich. It’s a little on the pricier side, but he makes sure to pack all the goodies on! Will definitely be back. Love the tuna salad salad with the garlic dressing. YUM!

Mr. Pickles has been our #1 go to sandwich shop for as long as I can remember. Fresh ingredients, delicious bread, friendly workers and of course the free cookie! Recently, prices have SOARED and it’s super disappointing we spent $53 on 4 sandwiches and that’s without chips and drinks. Absolutely insane but we just can’t afford to keep coming back. I hope they survive and maybe in the future re-evaluate their prices.

I ordered a half of the “hang loose” sandwich marked at 6.87 and a regular fountain drink at 2.49. They charged me over 15 dollars claiming there was a 50% tax. They gave me a 3 inch sandwich that didn’t even partially satisfy. Had to find another quick meal during my lunch. Never eating there again
